Breakfast 5/5 Very welcoming personnel, healthy and tasty food (for me), good pastries (for my husband) , selection of fresh juices Location 3/5 Not in the countryside (which would fit the atmosphere of the chateau), not nearby the center . Neighbourhood on the way to the metro is dirty and messy . Parking is ok , a lot of spaces. So good place to be by car and not having to go to the city center Cleaning 2/5 Spider nets literally everywhere together with their masters. 4 spiders were killed . Floor in some places wasn’t cleaned for years. Customer service 5/5 I posted spider nets on Instagram and they detected our room and sent someone to clean almost instantly and it was late evening. But it’s just too many corners to clean since it’s literally everywhere and it shouldn’t be done over the bed anyway so we kindly rejected. But proper and immediate reaction was appreciated Sound insulation 4/5 Our room is the furtherst from the elevator and passage, so for us it was very good (5/5), which, I believe is not the case for the rest of the rooms.

“Incredible property in poor location”

I had one night at Grand Hotel Villa Torretta, originally booked into a queen classic room, but I was upgraded to a huge king suite, as a Diamond member. For just 144 EUR, the rate was very reasonable for such a great property, and the room I ended up having on the ground floor. My room featured a separate living room with a sofa and TV, and a large bedroom also with a large TV and a door to a little, private patio area outside. There was also a large bathroom with a very nice rain shower. The room felt very regal, like you were staying in a castle for the night. Very unique experience. I also received a box of chocolates at check in, which was a lovely gesture. The check in process was slow though. The poor man at reception had to type a novel at the computer to conduct a simple check in, which I haven't seen at a Hilton before. I tried the one restaurant on site for dinner. It was very quiet when I first arrived, with me being the only guest, but the rooms where dinner and breakfast are served are very impressive, and make you feel like you are in a royal castle or something. Dinner was good, albeit the portion was a bit small, we did get complimentary bread and a small starter. The breakfast buffet was also nice and included prosecco if you wanted to start your day with a mimosa. They even had a discount on the bill for Diamond members at the restaurant, which was a great feature and something I've never seen at a Hilton before. I also appreciated the 2 PM check in time, earlier than the 3 PM norm (or even 4 PM that some hotels have). Now, the location of the hotel is quite odd. It's far outside the city center, and there's a bit of a walk to the closest Metro station. The surrounding area is not very interesting either, and outside of a shopping mall there's not much to see. It's also adjacent to a very busy road. I'm guessing the less-than-ideal location of the hotel is the reason why the rates are so low. With a better location, maybe with the additional of a pool, this would be a 5-star property, and probably much more busy. Aside from the location, the hotel is spectacular and I would highly recommend it.
