“Great hotel in a beautiful setting”
The hotel is really well done! We had the room in the tower which was beautiful with a glass walled patio in the bedroom with fantastic views. Breakfast was included, and it was really well done. Service is top notch. Matera is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must see if you are in the area.

“A very memorable experience”
We couldn't fault the hotel and absolutely loved our Panoramic cave room. Nothing was too much trouble - everyone was so kind and helpful! We had the most wonderful dinner on the terrace outside the hotel's restaurant which I would highly recommend. We loved our stay and can fault nothing!

“Amazing cave hotel in centre of old Matera”

“A once in a life time experience.”
It is truly an experience we will never forget. Matera is a fascinating and stunning town. It was such a privilege to stay in such beautiful accomodation. Staff were fantatastic - very helpful with places to eat/sightseeing.

“Stunning accommodation in incredible Matera”
The location next to the square, the lovely reception staff, and porter, the beautiful restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and the stunning cavernous rooms make for an amazing experience in an incredible town. The parking arrangement makes things easy, and we have a 2 hour walking tour arranged.... more
