“Lovely, quiet boutique hotel with cold A/C and convenient location”

I made a last-minute booking for this hotel after a sleepless night at a nearby hotel where the advertised A/C did not exist (even in May, Como gets warm). This hotel was more expensive, but getting a night of blissfully cool sleep in total silence and 65 F degree A/C was worth it. So I can confirm, this hotel has very good A/C! Even apart from that, this is also just an overall pleasant hotel that I'd return to if I ever were in Como again - it is on a fairly quiet street, so minimal loud vehicle traffic, but the location is still easily walkable (under 10 minutes) to the train station, lake, and central part of the town. The rooms are spacious and clean and quiet, and there is a lovely greenhouse/semi-outdoor patio area open for guests (which was nice to sit in after check-out rather than train station for 2 hours). Breakfast is also included in the rate - it wasn't the best hotel breakfast I had in Italy, but it had standard yogurt/pastries/toast/coffee etc that were fine.

Beautifuly decorated and quaint hotel with lovely access to the evening garden terrace to enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine. Hotel has an authentic, Italian ambiance and was about a 7-minute walk from the train station and about a 10-15 minute walk to Lake Como - perfect for meandering the streets of Como in few early morning and taking in their historical architecture. Ilenia, the hotel manager, went out of her way to assist our small group of four and was very accommodating. She was so helpful and offered to book our dinner reservations to the Gazzetto Osteria a couple of doors down. (Highly recommend the restaurant, too! Especially their house red wine as well as the Focaccia bread for an appetizer and either the Ravioli or the Gnocchetti - delizioso! We ate there two nights in a row!) Continental breakfast was elegantly provided and, once again, the hotel provided more than what we as Americans culturally understand as "continental breakfast" (only a few pieces of fruit and pastries). Rather, this hotel graciously offered a wide selection of delicious Italian pastries, fruit that was whole or freshly cut and presented beautifully, a selection of cheeses, meats, yogurts and various spreads; freshly made hard-boiled eggs and toast available as self-serve, too. Fresh espresso, cappuccino, latte or macchiato available to order as part of the breakfast as well. Overall, wonderful experience and we would be happy to stay here again.

“Cute Hotel in fab location.”

Loved this beautiful Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included in a cute breakfast room. The room was spacious for two friend and the beds very comfortable. Loved this beautiful Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included in a cute breakfast room. The room was spacious for two friend and the beds very comfortable. Very close to the main Como S. Giovanni train Station so can walk from station to hotel with ease. Shower pressure was amazing also! very secure (had to be buzzed in or use your room keycard to get it). Walkable to city centre. No need for any transportation. Front of House were amazing with showing us where everything was in the city and housekeeping were great also. (especially when we wanted to change rooms, they accommodated us)
