The Staff in ALL areas in this hotel are utterly charming, sweet, kind, and helpful both in person, on the phone and online. From the start they could not have done more to help us. The hotel is beautiful, and not 'shouty' or 'bling' but is real class. The restaurant and bar both cater extremely well for vegetarians (which we are) and there was a huge choice of superbly cooked food. We did not know in advance that it was so vegetarian-friendly, and we ended up eating all our meals in the hotel during our stay, rather than going out! The room was the perfect size and comfort, and we did get a balcony as requested. All told, it was the perfect experience, and even the rain did not spoil our enjoyment as we were able to stay indoors in beautiful surroundings. We shall definitely return!

Very Comfortable stay at Hotel Sirmione e Promessi Sposi - lakeside ambient and the Hotel itself, even though slightly dated, is quaint and nice. No kettle or tea/coffee in room. Breakfast is very good; I thought it excessive to charge for fried eggs. Bed and pillows comfortable; I asked for a second pillow and was served immediately. Room was very comfortable. The SPA and heated pool is across the road; so we wore our robes and spend a good afternoon at the SPA and pool. Hotel very central and just close to the Sirmione Castle. I would recommend a stay at the Hotel, even though on the pricy side.

“Location!!!”
Firstly,excellent location beside the lake and water taxis. The hotel very clean,staff very friendly rooms are spacious but no iron or kettle. The variety at breakfast fantastic and Spa a must do. Overall good value shame no kettle in the room.

“Hotel need some refreshments”
We came with much higher expectations and were a little disappointed. This is an Old hotel with old facilities. Average breakfast with no explanation of how to get coffee. Staff is not so welcoming. We had to ask for tea and kettle in the room.

“Great location, nice spa but very bad room. Not quality-price value.”
Great location, very nice spa, but room is far from what we expected. Small, dirty, no shampoo, old stile. Not quality-price value at all. We reserved a regular room and they put us in an old building in front (spa building). They should informed us in advanced. Rooms are not nice at all.
