“Beautiful lakefront getaway”

Very nice boutique, hotel, friendly staff, rooms with beautiful views of the lake, beautiful, outdoor veranda, and also very close to everything and very convenient. The ferry was practically right out the lobby door, lots of wonderful restaurants and shops.

We have just returned from a week in Sirmione in the lovely Hotel Eden. Quite often what makes the difference in a hotel is its staff and the staff here are so friendly, helpful and seem to really love their work. We were given recommendations for days out over breakfast, moving cars in the garage was never too much trouble (indeed a carefully planned military exercise with the whole garage mapped on a plan!). The cleaners always said hello and everyone was just happy! Our room was bright and light with two lovely windows overlooking the lake where we could watch all the comings and goings. The ferries stop right next door but this was no issue, in fact interesting and you could have seen the ferry from our window and run down to catch it! The room was spacious and well equipped. The bed was really comfy. A mirror in the room near a plug socket would be a useful change but not a deal breaker as the bathroom was equipped but nice to have the option. The room had a large balcony which we would have used more but it was full sun with no shade. So an umbrella would be useful there. Still great when not so warm or in the evenings. Only annoyance was the charge of 1 euro for any tea or coffee in the room after you had used those that were provided. Seemed a little petty. Location is amazing - right in historic Sirmione so literally step outside into the bustling streets. Hubby is gluten free and I have to mention the Modi restaurant next door which is amazing for this! The sun deck is lovely with comfy loungers and tables plus a couple of seating areas. From here you can climb down into the lake to swim. The way in is a little tricky but there are steps as well as ladders. The lake was so refreshing in the heatwave we were in. Pool towels are provided in the room. The deck is a little rough in places so footwear is a must. We had room 203 on recommendation from trip advisor reviews. Top choice! 303 is top floor with slightly less head height. 103, 1st floor. All these rooms look out over the deck and lake. Breakfast was lovely. Very fresh. I had smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, fresh cheeses, pastries and lovely fresh juices and tea/coffee. Plentiful and replenished where required. All in all a lovely stay 😍

We have just returned from a wonderful week at the Eden Hotel. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the lake and ferry terminal, it was lovely to watch the comings and going’s, worth while upgrading. The hotel was in a great central location, it was kept remarkably clean and tidy, all the staff were lovely. The room was a great size, very nice toiletries were supplied and replenished daily, towels were changed morning and evening. Only slight criticism is there was no mirror above the dressing table to allow you to do your hair and makeup, the wall mirror had no electric socket near by.

A lovely hotel in a good location. Very friendly staff. Our room was very warm throughout our stay and when we asked about the air conditioning the guy working on reception said it wasn’t working. A lovely hotel in a good location. Very friendly staff. Our room was very warm throughout our stay and when we asked about the air conditioning the guy working on reception said it wasn’t working. This resulted in us having to leave our balcony door open to let some air in resulting in our room being covered in flies (even with the curtains pulled across). There are gluten free options for breakfast but I think there is room for improvement here. It’s not a dining experience where you can order food to be cooked fresh. Also on their light lunch menu, the only option is salad.
