“Excellent hotel with first class staff and service”

On arrival we had a Warm welcome at reception ( no welcome drink). We arrived around 2 pm our room was ready. It was a lovely modern room with a pool view. Large shower ( no bath) with lovely toiletries replenished daily. Lots of towels. A lovely beach bag with 2 beach/pool towels and 2 pairs of flip flops were in our room with a safe in the room with kettle/ tea bags etc. also a fridge. Complimentary water left on arrival. Lovely recliner chairs on the balcony. The room was spotlessly clean. House cleaning call in the evening to change your pool/beach towels. Plenty of wardrobe storage with ample coat hangers. We stayed in September for one week on half board. Breakfast is served in the downstairs breakfast room which allows for eating outside near the pool or inside. Breakfast buffet is plenty full, with Persecco on offer, you just help yourself. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Omelettes and eggs are cooked as requested. Tea/ coffee is served at your table. All sorts are on offer and beautifully presented. Porridge needs to be warmer it was Luke warm. We had excellent service from all the staff, they are so friendly and helpful. However one morning we went for breakfast at 9.40 and the food had not been replenished, no porridge available and limited pastries etc. 4.30-5.30 pm daily in the breakfast room afternoon tea is service this is free. Tea/coffee and beautiful home made cakes /biscuits. There are 2 pools one out door and one indoor. The indoor pool has a sauna and steam room for use. Lovely sunbeds are around the pool with free tea, and water. Staff replenish this throughout the day. This pool is handy when the weather is not so good. We had some bad weather while there so used the indoor pool most days. Pool is open from 8 am until 10 pm daily. Showers are available at pool side with body wash and hair dryer is available within the ladies toilet. Lovely sunbeds and sun shades around the outdoor pool with double cabana beds as well. Waiter service is around the pool. It is a 15 min walk to Limone centre a very easy down hill walk and well worth it. The hotel does have a shuttle bus that will drop you off and pick you up from Limone just ask at reception. The driver drops you in the carpark in Limone centre and he waits around there to bring people back. The bus has the hotel name on so you know which one it is. This is a free service from the hotel. The service runs until 7 pm each day. The driver is lovely very friendly. We travelled with TUi from Manchester and the flight was 1 hour 50 mins. The transfer took around 2 hours as they dropped people off in riva de Garda first. The coach drops you off at the main car park in Limone and a mini bus then takes you to the hotel. It was all very seamless. Evening meal is served in the upstairs restaurant. All courses served at your table. Excellent service good wine list. The menu is a 4 course menu but always delicious. Everything is included if you are half board. If b and b the evening meal is 60 euros each for 4courses or 40 euros for 3 courses. When buying food or drink at the hotel you have to sign for it and pay at the end. Entertainment is a singer a few evenings per week in the bar area. When walking into Limone ask at reception for the quickest way as there is a gate at the side of the hotel and this is the fastest and easiest route. Visited Riva de Garda by ferry 8 euros each return, then walked to Torbole and got the ferry back to Limone from Torbole it was a lovely flat walk along the lake. Torbole is a beautiful ancient village centre with the narrow alleys with shops and restaurants. We visited a lovely church in Riva de Garda, climbed the clock tower Torre Apponale The tower, 34 metres, and costs 2 euros each to get in. We also took the BASTIONE SCENIC LIFT to a lovely restaurant at the top with great views. The lift has a panoramic cabin made entirely of glass: a trick that allows you to admire the panorama of the centre and Lake Garda in all its splendour. 8 euros each return but we walked down It was a lovely walk. A few steps away is the Bastion, the Venetian tower that has become one of the icons of Riva del Garda. This is free to walk around once you get off the lift. While in Limone visit, The church of San Pietro, also known as San Pietro in Oliveto (because of its position among the olive trees), dating back to the 9th century, is the oldest in Limone. And is free to get in. Also walk the lakeside cantilevered cycle-pedestrian path along the coast it has great views and is flat to walk, it’s the most spectacular elevated bike path in Europe. It is 2,5km long it starts once you have walked through Limone you will see signs. We were lucky enough to watch a brilliant firework display over the lake one evening with live music. Visited Malcesine by ferry from limone and toured the castle and church both really good and worth a visit . Very busy place but worth visiting . Visited Sirmione by ferry , it was vey busy. Visited Jamaica beach, the castle and 2 churches. small narrow streets and lots of shops, bars, restaurants and amazing ice cream parlours. Lots of historical interests from medieval castle to Roman ruins. Also visited Salo and Duomo di Santa Maria Annunziata Cathedral in Salò, Italy it was so beautiful and free entry. Salò is the largest city on the west shore of Lake Garda but feels less touristy. Lovely lake side cafes and restaurants. Well worth a visit. The Church of San Pietro The church of San Pietro, also known as San Pietro in Oliveto (because of its position among the olive trees), dating back to the 9th century, is the oldest in Limone. The church is Romanesque in style, with a single nave. Inside, there is a small white marble stoup and some beautiful frescoes, which came to light in 1989 and were restored in 2006. The simplicity of the church and the essentiality of the frescoes Lake Garda is beautiful but the weather is hit and miss so go in July or aug but it will be busy.

“Fabulous week”

Just returned from this beautiful place, firstly, Limone itself is just stunning: the hotel is in a good location, with stunning views, it’s a 10 min walk into the centre, if you walk out of the gate near the car park and turn right, the staff work very hard to keep this hotel spotless, we stayed bed and breakfast as there are to many nice restaurants too eat in at night and we like to have a wander around, the breakfast was great with plenty of choice, the staff are all very friendly and always on hand to help with directions/ferry times etc. we stayed in a junior suite and it was lovely, beds very comfortable, if I had to have any criticism I would say that maybe we should have had fresh bottled water in our room daily, which we didn’t we just refilled a bottle and kept it in the fridge, but this would be the only negative comment I could make and it’s nothing really, but it is something we’ve always had in previous 5 star hotels, however I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a luxury hotel, in one of the most beautiful places, thanks to all at Park Imperial for a wonderful week.👍

WOW, an absolute Gem. It was our first time in Italy, we decided to book Park Hotel Imperial - Centro Tao in Limone and what a great choice it was. The Hotel is immaculate, clean, tidy, excellent staff who take care of your every need. An absolute wonderful experience. The rooms are very tidy, clean and very comfortable, and the towels were changed every day. Towels for the pool are placed in a lovely basket bag along with flip flops for you to use. The pool area is also spotless and well looked after throughout the day. Sun Beds were never a problem, as we could get them at any time of day. The breakfast was excellent with a great deal to chose from, and Evening meals were out of this world, a four course option every day, and of a very high quality. There is also a frequent shuttle bus service at no cost, which drops and collects you from Limone lake side. I would like to say that we had a wonderful time, congratulations to ALL of the Hotel Staff, you did an excellent job in looking after us, and we will certainly look to return.

“Lovely hotel but guests need to respect the staff, other guests and surroundings..”

All staff are professional and humerous. Hotel is lovely. Food in the restaurant at dinner is a daily changing set menu of 4 dishes per course, 4 courses of small dishes but never hungry afterwards. Good menu for lunch and ok for bar snacks. Spa facilities are also good but never used them as treat… more

Good menu for lunch and ok for bar snacks. Spa facilities are also good but never used them as treatments were expensive. Only criticism is the guests don't respect other guests or the hotel ie not wearing long trousers in the restaurant, playing ball games in the pool, damage to signage in the lift. Double beds are 2 singles pushed together which i guess is normal. Not forgetting a gorgeous view of the lake and over to Mount Bolde and Malcesine. Good 5 minute shuttle service to Limone.
