I loved it! It's spacious and old school glamour in a good way. Perfectly positioned for all that Genoa has to offer. Enjoyed excellent breakfast on the terrace and the staff were super helpful.All this and value for money. Will definitely be back.

We loved our four nights stay at the Bristol Palace. The best in every way, we couldn’t have chosen better! We had a lovely room, old style, well-appointed on the 6th floor and quiet. not the largest but perfect for our needs and the price was right. The hotel cannot be better situated on the main street, XX Settembre, 3 minutes away from the main square with it’s fountain, old Genoa, 5 minutes walk to the cathedral and 10 minutes to the palaces and to the old port, where you can take advantage of boat excursions (went to Portofino and visited other villages along the way, with the company Golfo Paridiso recommended by the hotel). Numerous great restaurants in the vicinity. All the restaurants recommended by the staff were perfect and within walking distance. El Genovese (a typical Genovese restaurant…very affordable with delicious food, but be there, at opening at 7h00 or make a reservation as it’s very popular) Zefferino a posh established restaurant where three popes ate and so did numerous political and show business personalities. Upscale but still very reasonably priced. Il Marin, a Michelin star restaurant overlooking the port (upper floor after the restaurant Eataly. We had the most incredible meal and again unbeatable quality at 70 euros for a five courses meal with complimentary extras at the start and the end. The best Michelin star restaurant quality/price we ever experienced. A real gastronomical experience where the staff treat their guests like royalty. Bristol Palace also offers a lovely restaurant, if you do not feel like going out....but it only opens at 7h30, which was little late for us. The hotel is also a 10-15 minutes walk from the train station, where we took the train to get to the Cinque Terre and to hop between the five villages. We felt that our pied à terre in Genoa was the best way to get to surrounding attractions while experiencing a lovely city with a lot to see, where your money goes far and where all residents are so kind and helpful. Definitely an hidden gem. Thank you to all the staff that helped us, you’re all great ambassadors for the best hotel in Genoa. Without hesitation, this is the hotel I would positively recommend for any stay in Genoa.

stayed for one week at this absolutely marvelous hotel for our wedding anniversary and enjoyed ever minute of our stay, the staff cannot do enough to help, our room was so spacious and quiet, we ate in restaurant Giotto on two evenings and were far from disapointed, the breakfasts were second to none and the bar caters to all tastes with a very competent Ivan to make your dream drink come true. Genoa has a caracter of its own with numerous sights,restaurants,cafes and bars, well worth a visit, and dont forget to view the hotel staircase.

“1 night stay in Genoa”

Nice hotel with good service and nice rooms, very clean and nice bathrooms. Some noise from the traffic in the morning, but not very annoing. Very nice breakfast and excellent location for visiting Genoa. Close to the shopping areas and the old town with a lot of restaurants.
