“Great location, clean and comfortable”

Overall, for a short stay, absolutely fine. The location is excellent, close to all of the attractions, food and atmosphere. The pub next door is small but amazing. The actual hotel is within a block, once you get passed the awful dark corridor, it is on the second floor behind a secure door. It is clean, tidy basic but comfortable, AC and excellent Wi Fi. My only issue is the lack of presence, if there was a problem with the key or an issue with anything there was no one. The room has a kettle but no teaspoon ( minor I know but worth knowing) . I recommend here for short break for a couple.

Liked · Very good location very close to the center. even though I didn't meet any of the staff, everything was arranged by them in order for me to have no issues at all in finding the keys at that late time that I arrived. Disliked · The sink was very tiny, and you couldn't wash yourself without dropping water on the floor, definitely uncomfortable and a little risky as you could hurt yourself on the glass of the mirror.

Stayed here for 2 nights, for the Florence Marathon. Location is the key factor of this small hotel, as it is walking distance from everything in the city center of Florence. Your really cannot beat the comfort of being able to reach the train station, the cathedral, the famous Piazza Signoria and Ponte Vecchio within minutes of walking, at a more than affordable price (less that 100 euro per night, on average). Other than its fantastic location, unfortunately the hotel facilities are really basic, and the whole experience came with a few issues: - The reception is open only from 3pm until 9pm. Out of these hours, the guests are provided with a code to enter the main building and the floor. -No bar, let alone restaurant, just a vendor machine in the rooms area. - Rooms are decent but rather small, equipped with just the basics, including toiletries enough barely for one night. -Room was clean, apart from a bit of mould in the shower. - A couple of maintenance issues: the shower not draining and flooding all over the bathroom if water let running for more than 5 minutes - The room door was damaged and falling off his frame. It could be still closed, with a bit of effort. I reported this to the reception at the end of my stay. Overall, a decent stay, worth the affordable price, but nothing more than that. The location alone provides one additional star to the review.
