Tivoli is a true gem in the heart of Florence! My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon (10/27/24-11/01/24), and everything exceeded expectations. From the moment we entered, the elegant lobby with its subtle scent set the tone for our stay. We were warmly greeted by the doorman, offered champagne at check-in, and given helpful local tips. Our luggage was swiftly delivered to our room, where we were personally shown around, an extra touch that made us feel truly pampered. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a thoughtful bottle of wine and handwritten note celebrating our honeymoon. The daily cleaning and nightly chocolates added a personal touch, and the pillow menu—offering six options for perfect comfort—was a standout. Breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of fresh options and made-to-order omelets. The outdoor garden seating, complete with cozy blankets, made dining even more enjoyable. The rooftop bar offered stunning views, impeccable service, and delicious drinks, making it a must-try. Above all, the staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome. The hotel’s beautiful decor and warm ambiance, especially with the real candles at night, made our stay magical. If I could rate Tivoli higher than 5 stars, I would! I’ll be recommending this place to everyone and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our honeymoon unforgettable!

We stayed at Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi for 5 days from 7th October. From the moment we arrived we were so well looked after by such friendly and professional staff, from the reception team, the doorman, through to the bar and waiting teams. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had all the amenities you can think of. The bed was queen size and amongst the most comfortable we have slept in. Rooms were tended to everyday and each evening the staff provided a turn-down service. Breakfast was amazing; there was every type of food you could imagine from fruit, continental, hot dishes, freshly cooked omelettes to the most delicious pastries and mini tartlets. The weather meant we were lucky enough to experience drinks at the rooftop bar one evening; wow what a view! We dined in the hotel’s restaurant, Terrae, on our first and last evenings. On both occasions we were looked after by Antonella who was incredibly attentive, friendly and informative; her knowledge on both the dishes and wines were excellent, she was the perfect maitre d. The food was out of this world and beautifully presented. Salvatore, the executive Chef came to visit the tables and spoke enthusiastically and passionately about his food. Both he, Antonella and the rest of their team were superb. A 5* visit to a fabulous hotel in the heart of Florence. We hope we are fortunate enough to visit again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay and were very please with everything offered. We were specially pleased with the restaurant and the bars. The view from the rooftop bar is stunning and second to none. The cuisine at Terrae was some of the finest dining we have ever experienced. We had the chef’s tasting menu with wine, pairings one night and liked it so much we canceled our dinner plans at another establishment to return and enjoy the offerings again.Chef Iside, Chef Salvatore, and Antonella were exquisite.

The hotel is in a great location. we decided to travel by train and it was a great choice. You do not have to take a cab. it is 5 min walking thru a small underground walkway. We booked 2 cooking classes in the city; because of the season (end of October) there was no availability for a cooking class in a farm. We had great fun learning pasta making and pizza making at 2 different places in Florence; walked there and discovered the city. I will focus on the hotel. It was booked thru American Express travel. A mistake I made was to booked a junior suite. It had stairs because of the loft... what we disliked was the bed. When you travel, the need for a great bed is, yes, needed:) We fell in the middle; thank goodness it was a king size. The lady at front desk who welcomed us is a pro. She noticed my husband birthday was on our last day. 4 days later, getting up for breakfast, there was a mat at our door with a happy birthday on it and at breakfast the wait staff brought a muffin with a candle. So very much appreciated. She (the front desk) made our day for remembering. Her and the doormen, with their smiles and greeting, made our stay more enjoyable! The day of our arrival. we went to have a cocktail on the patio upstairs. We did not have a reservation and decided to seat at the bar. It was very busy! We had to wait 20 min before being served! no cocktails, just a glass of wine and Proseco. It seemed only the mixologist was serving; the rest of the waitstaff was only for water... I found that totally incomprehensible. Not only that, but I found him not very pleasant or entertaining. Anybody can serve wine; a mixologist is for cocktails. There is a team and there is communication. We went once for breakfast and it was not enjoyable at all, but for the birthday muffin which I left a tip for. I had my food from the buffet, finished it before our cappucinos came, 20 minutes! Talking about hospitality?! the vey first thing you serve at breakfast are beverage; coffee or tea... when I came to the buffet, there was eggs left just for me. We had to wait so long for it to be replenish. Had to ask the head waiter to get some eggs for my husband; at least if there was none, he could order it. Beside those 2, I saw that there was other better suited for that job. We did enjoy Florence and appreciated a lot of people working in the hospitality industry. Thank you!
