Residence Michelangiolo is a lovely, perfect place to stay in Florence. It is truly gorgeous, with a beautiful garden. The room felt quite grand--I loved the old villa feel of the place. It is about a 20 minute walk from most of the main sites, but we preferred being outside the incredibly intense, hectic city center. It's beautiful and quiet, and the manager was extremely friendly and helpful.

Very good hotel , situated in quite area, close to Centre of Florence and Piazalle Michelangelo. Very nice service and friendly staff, who is ready to assist in any question. Highly recomended for visit and to stay as long as possible)). We are very happy that we are stay in this Residence)))

Could not recommend the Residence Michalagiolo more! The accommodations are first-class from the beautiful rooms, amenities, and top-notch service. The location is absolutely perfect for Florence. Close enough to walk to all major areas of Florence and in a wonderful neighborhood with great cafes, restaurants, and markets. If you happen to have a car they have parking and it is extremely easy to get in/out and on your way. Lastly and most importantly, the hospitality is beyond incredible. Angelina and Cherubino truly make you feel like family. I was blown away with the warmness you were greeted with each and every single day. This was my first time staying here and I cannot wait to come back...and bring friends.

We began staying at the Residence Michelangiolo, Viale Michelangiolo 21 in Florence Italy 15 years ago after staying at various hotels in Florence prior. Staying with Angelina and Cherubino is like staying at a Villa but you know the owners intimately. The traditional ambiance of a 1917 Villa in the center of Florence is an experience like no other. Decorations and style allow you to feel the true experience of Italy. The residence offers on site parking and is a 15 minute walk along the Arno River which takes you to the center of the Renaissance, Ponte Vecchio, galleries, food, and shopping. You can take your car to the Chianti heartland with very easy access from RM. Recommended is traveling down the S222 (Chiante Road) to the best scenic drive ever to famous towns and wineries. Angelina is very helpful in directing you where to go, gaining access to impossible to get tickets and the best restaurant tour of Tuscany. Enjoy your travels!
