“WONDERFUL hotel on a quiet street!”

Wonderful, cozy hotel on a quiet, beautiful street! We chose it primarily for its proximity to the Maria Novella transit station; the walk is about 5-8 mins and it worked out wonderfully. The hotel itself gives a cozy, old style, almost rustic vibe; even a family run operation. the rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine; our room was also available earlier than the check-in time. There was a little outdoor space with a table and chairs that you could step out to as well. I would add that the shower is a little tricky as it is a slightly elevated space that an average height or a shorter person may have to jump out of, as I did. It was just fine for us but I had read similar reviews about many showers and am happy to report that it was a non-issue. We did make it to breakfast on our last day; the options were plenty and it was more of a traditional American breakfast, which we never saw offered anywhere else. Everything was delicious and freshly made. The hotel also held our luggage after checkout while we spent the afternoon in Florence, which was super helpful. I cannot overstate the loveliness of escaping to a quiet street, which this hotel is on, after being in crowds ALL day. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Beautiful hotel in excellent location. Situated on a quiet street with a few cafe/bars and restaurants. You have everything you need without going more than 200 metres. We had an amazing time here, everyone is so friendly and helpful. The two ladies on Reception were really professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast staff were very efficient. Even when they were really busy they always had a smile and would make you any coffee you wanted, latte, cappucino, espresso etc. There was a wide range on offer, cereals, fruit juice, pastires and cakes, as well as eggs and bacon. The housekeeping staff are also excellent. Our lady was called Jenevieve (hope I have got this right) and she was lovely, keeping our room clean and topped up with the essentials. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough and we can't wait to go back! See you soon :)

“A gem of a hotel”

“Great location, nice rooms, friendly staff”
Clean and comfortable rooms. There is an elevator, but it's small, so if you have a lot of luggage, you might be taking multiple trips--there are stairs, and it's cool that it was a home once. Clean and comfortable rooms. There is an elevator, but it's small, so if you have a lot of luggage, you might be taking multiple trips--there are stairs, and it's cool that it was a home once. The location was great for walking to so many things all around town. The staff were lovely, and the breakfast room was the best way to wake up in the morning. The breakfast ladies took such good care of us--one of our favorite memories of our trip. We look forward to staying there again.

“Cozy, comfortable hotel near train station”
Small hotel with big heart. Rooms are large and classically decorated in Florentine style. The modern bathroom and, in particular, the shower is one of the best in Italy! The breakfast spread is very nice though I resisted the cheesecake and chocolate tort.
