“Charming & Authentic”
This hotel was perfect for our 5 day break - it was central for exploring Florence and had an old school charm which added something special. This hotel was perfect for our 5 day break - it was central for exploring Florence and had an old school charm which added something special. The week we stayed was incredibly hot and the air conditioning was a welcome relief and rest from all the walking we enjoyed. The staff were all delightful and made us feel really welcome. The breakfast was perfect for our needs and the staff happily provided me with a kettle for the room when I asked. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property is in a great location. The hotel has an old world charm and still uses an actual key to get into your room. The room was a nice size, clean, and looked updated. The property is in a great location. The hotel has an old world charm and still uses an actual key to get into your room. The room was a nice size, clean, and looked updated. The bathroom, however, was really small and the shower was almost too small to use. I will say that the bathroom was clean and also looked updated. Breakfast was included in my stay and I was not a huge fan of the offering. It was just ok. Service was good and the employees were friendly. We had a little hiccup with breakfast and getting bad information from the front desk, but these things happen.

The rooms are spacious and renovated. The only thing that needs improvement is the pillows, which are hard and thin, and the breakfast, which is not as shown in the photos, the variety is very poor, they serve mostly cakes and sweet breads. The rooms are spacious and renovated. The only thing that needs improvement is the pillows, which are hard and thin, and the breakfast, which is not as shown in the photos, the variety is very poor, they serve mostly cakes and sweet breads. The layout is untidy and the gentleman who serves is not very friendly, but the girls are very friendly. The location is very good, close to the train station and the center in a walking distance.
