A very nice hotel close to the city center and the train station. Clean rooms and very comfortable bed. The personal was friendly and generous. The breakfast is great. A perfect hotel for a few nights in Florence.

The most convivial family in all of Florence runs this fantastic small hotel convenient to the train station and all the major sites. Giovanni, Mariella and Chiara couldn’t be more simpatico. Our room was enormous by European standards and had a lovely balcony where we enjoyed sitting in the evening. A comfortable bed, large bathroom and lots of hot water. The best part might be how absolutely quiet the room was, we stayed for five nights and slept like babies every night. Mariella and Chiara serve up delicious home made baking every morning with tasty cappuccinos. As always, contact them directly for the best price, great value in a busy city.

“Perfect stay ”

Location was great. Next street to train station and close to Mercato Centrale with its fabulous food court open at night. There was live music when we were there last Thursday! Great choice if food. Easy walk to the Duomo and main shopping areas. Plenty of eateries nearby and a little supermarke… more

Location was great. Next street to train station and close to Mercato Centrale with its fabulous food court open at night. There was live music when we were there last Thursday! Great choice if food. Easy walk to the Duomo and main shopping areas. Plenty of eateries nearby and a little supermarket at the bottom of the street. Although the hotel is on the third floor, there is an old style but reliable lift to get you there. The staff are really lovely and very helpful. Our room (54) was brightly decorated and had everything we needed for our stay with a fridge, safe and even a little balcony! We were even supplied with a mossie machine and tablets which fortunately we didn't need to use. Don't be put off with high room numbers, the hotel is small and compact with only a few rooms on each floor. The bathroom was quite small, especially the shower unit but was fine for us, and shower gel and hand soap were provided. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding both in our room and public areas. The breakfast was very nice with a selection of savoury and sweet choices. Omelette, bread and ham, cheese etc. as well as a selection of cakes (some homemade) and croissants as well as breakfast cereals too. Drinks were freshly made and served by a lovely lady . Perfecto ! We thought our stay was well worth the money and we would recommend and definitely stay there again. We were delighted to discover we could do Cinque Terre on a day trip from Florence and we would definitely recommend doing it. Very long and tiring day but well worth it.
