We enjoyed our stay here (30 April to 3rd May 2024). The young woman running the place while we were there was so lovely and helpful (wish i could remember her name). As the hotel name says it is very central and close to so many of the places of interest with a supermarket next door and plenty of restaurants etc in the area. Access is odd at first but soon got the hang of the lifts and stairs. People that say they shared bathrooms must have booked really cheap rooms, ours had an ensuit. The bed was so comfy and the room so quiet I had great sleeps and did not want to get up in the morning. In fact we put up the do not disturb for couple of days so that we could really relax from travelling.

Five star for location if you are visiting the art city of Italy. Duamo, Galleria dell academia di Firenze (where you can see the original David) with in 5-6 minute walk. Hotel Centro is not really accessible to people with moving difficulties, don’t have 24/7 receptionists service. No lift to second floor of the hotel, service lift did not worked most of our second day stay! (Which was only usable when someone from the hotel was their) Felt like it was more like an AirBnB than a Hotel to be honest

This hotel is in a great central location to sites. You walk down the cobblestone street and it opens up into the main plaza with an up close view of the Duomo. This hotel is in a great central location to sites. You walk down the cobblestone street and it opens up into the main plaza with an up close view of the Duomo. If you don't pay close enough attention you will walk right past the hotel entrance, so keep you eyes peeled. There is a small lift so if you are traveling with a group or large luggage you will have to make a few trips. The room accommodations are clean and average. We had a private room with a bathroom ensuite. Morning breakfast consists of Italian pastries, jams, etc. The front desk staff is was very helpful. There is also a small "grocery" store on the same street as the hotel so if you forget/need anything that is convenient. All in all I would recommend staying here because of the central location and clean private rooms.
