“Nice hotel in the heart of Florence”

My family had 3 rooms in this hotel. The quadruple room and two doubles. It is located about 15 minutes from the Duomo in a great location in the Center of the city. The hotel reception is on the 2 nd floor so you have to go up a short flight of stairs to get to the elevator to get to the reception area. The staff was friendly and helpful and offered to have decaf coffee available for me since I can’t have caffeine. I thanked them and asked about it at every breakfast but it never showed up. The breakfast was the same everyday except the days that they ran out of eggs, another day the coffee maker was broken. The beds were harder than I’m used to but we walked so much that I could have crashed on a cinder block at the end of the day. The had a fridge and safe in each room. The fridge was stocked with some water and drinks that you pay for if you use. The rooms were cleaned everyday, which was really nice to come in to after a long day of walking. The rooms had extra pillows and blankets - it would have been nice to have a fan. Later the cleaning lady told us we had a AC unit but the controller for this unit was never found in our room during our stay. The rooms were so hot that we slept with the windows open and were bitten by tiny mosquitoes. The bathroom in the quadruple room was plenty big enough. The shower didn’t drain very well and water would pool up in the bottom. The multiple shower and body heads were nice and powerful. We didn’t ever run out of hot water. I would stay here again but I can’t give it 5 stars because there is room for improvement. if you offer to do something for your guests then you should follow through or at least communicate why you can’t meet the request , especially if you offer to do it. Access to a fan in each room would be nice. Especially since there is no night staff on duty to assist you .

“A good choice”

Located a bit outside of the city center but it only takes you a 15-minute walk to reach the cathedral. This is pleasant since you don’t get bothered by noises and people. Located a bit outside of the city center but it only takes you a 15-minute walk to reach the cathedral. This is pleasant since you don’t get bothered by noises and people. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The room was nice but the bed way too hard for us. We also had a few issues with the AC. There is a few mold in the bathroom. I can’t give 5 stars since there are a few improvements to make in my opinion. But globally, you can spend a good time there!
