“Hotel Del Mare was a delight.”
Contrary to some of the other reviews I loved this hotel. I travel with a mobility scooter. Although I did not take it to my room they secured it near the front desk. I took an elevator to my room and they brought my bags to me. This is not a Chain Hotel. It is charming, delightfully decorated … more
Contrary to some of the other reviews I loved this hotel. I travel with a mobility scooter. Although I did not take it to my room they secured it near the front desk. I took an elevator to my room and they brought my bags to me. This is not a Chain Hotel. It is charming, delightfully decorated and the staff treated me like royalty. My room had a view of the amazing Mediterranean Sea. Next door at a very reasonable price was the freshest best seafood I have ever eaten. I easily scootered along the coast and around the town which gave me a great impression of an ordinary Italian town. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport. I strongly suggest you book a transfer prior to arriving at the airport. The difference in price is about 1/3. After about 17 hours in airports and planes this was the perfect solution. I took a cab the next day to the Hotel Indigo near the Vatican for an additional 3 days in Historic Rome, which took about an hour in heavy traffic. The price of Hotel Del Mare was about 1/4 Hotel Indigo and to me a great value. Do not expect it to be an Indigo.

“Excellent Boutique Hotel”
Well Located on the Sea Excellent Views and a large sand beach..Clean rooms and Friendly staff.....Near many local resturants Shuttle service available to the airport about 15 mins away..Enjoy...the free breakfast provided also.

“Seaside stay near airport”
I booked a room to be handy for an early flight out of Italy the next day. Wow! What a lovely hotel with a great view! The sea is steps from the front door. Fine dining is handy. Beach volleyball is right out front.
