This is a beautiful boutique hotel. The interior design of the hotel is stunning, on the one hand it is warm, on the other hand every time you look around you see something different that catches your eye. Whilst authentically Italian it has elements that are reminiscent of New York’s stylish lower east side. The attention to detail is extraordinary. Our family of 6 spent 3 nights here and loved every minute of it. The rooms are immaculate and, similar to the ground floor, very stylish. Everything is high quality and works. There are lots of extras including pastries (and lollies!) in the bar area. I recommend stopping for a drink in the bar when returning to the hotel in the evening. The breakfast was high quality and delicious. All the staff were highly professional and helpful. All of their advice was spot on. For example, we asked for a list of all unpretentious quality restaurants. Out comes a hand written list of 6 restaurants. We tried 3, each of them unpretentious and high quality. We asked about a bicycle ride and we were recommended to a store around the corner. They fitted us out with high quality bikes and a plan for a stunning all day ride, at a very reasonable price. We needed lunches prepared daily for hiking, the staff recommended a bakery that fulfilled that job perfectly. We really appreciate all the thought and effort that has gone into this hotel.

This hotel was more of a guest house than a 4 star hotel. While it is clear the owner/manager puts a lot of care and attention into the place-- it's not drab or boring, the taste and selections are questionable. For example, the breakfast room, which I believe is also used as a nightclub, has wallpaper that looks fun and interesting from a distance, yet the images are actually very unappetizing at best to grotesque at worst. The rooms are VERY small. We reserved a family suite, and what looked like on the website photos would be plenty of space. The photos are not representative of how small the space was. There was no way a family of 4 could comfortably share that space--only room for beds and space to step over one another. This room may be comfortable for a single parent and children who didn't have ski clothing and spent very little time in the room. There was only a tiny window in the slanted roof, and the bathroom was so small it was barely functionable. We ended up paying for a second room, which also had a small, awkward bathroom that was difficult to use. In total the cost of staying at this hotel added up to a cost that would have allowed us to stay at much nicer accommodations-- there are many other better options at that high price point. This was not a luxury hotel. This hotel is advertised as 4 stars, but it is not. Positives are very nice staff at front desk, lovely breakfast staff, conveniently located in center of town and across from ski rental shop.

While the hotel service and location are superb right at the center of Cortina and staff are all friendly and helpful, we found the hotel’s room small, old fashioned decoration mostly with wooden panel, and seemingly chic but looking semi modern semi ancient without a good blend. Breakfast is fine with ample choice. Final words. A bit pricey and overvalued to us.

Nice enough but not a four star hotel. The front staff was very pleasant and friendly upon arrival. The front common area has a funky modern art display. Good location and attractive building. The room was super small and uncomfortable for our two day stay. The bathroom had a good enough shower but the sink was rimless with not an inch of space for a cup, a toothbrush holder or even a soap dish (we had to rest the bar of soap inside the sink). In addition, the “curtain” on the door to the small porch was a see through piece of saggy cotton. The expensive room on the ad may be all it’s advertised but beware of other room options.
