Shearings coach trip to the amalfi coast brilliant.plenty of tours two good drivers couldn’t fault them.beautiful part of Italy.weather was great hotel all inclusive.all the staff were really great.nice clean hotel. Couldn’t ask for more.

This was our second consecutive year with Shearings to Diano Marina and the Hotel Mediterraneo. Even better than last year and that would take a bit of beating, Our drivers Jason and Andre were first class throughout, being professional, knowlegeable and showing excellent time keeping management. This ensured us arriving at our main hotel destintion in good time as well as our overnight stops. The overnight hotels were comfortable and of a good standard. Our homeward overnight stop in Rheims included an evening meal, booked in a local restaurant from the Novotel which was a 5 minute walk, The meal was both welcomed and of a good quality. Our main hotel in Diano Marina; the Hotel Mediterraneo we had stayed at last year and Italian hospitality was shown again upon our arrival and during our stay again this year, as we were remembered from our previous stay. Once again our room was airy and clean. Furnishings were what is expected in Italian hotels of this rating, As with our experience of Italian hotels don't expect the flashiness and tackiness of the 21st century as with other countries, They have their own charm, We were using our room for sleeping in and our room was sufficient for this with a welcomed fridge to keep water in. Once again the food served at breakfast and dinner was varied, fresh and plentiful served in the light dining room, The staff worked hard and were always welcoming and friendly whatever time of the day it was, Coffee and tea provided throughout the day was welcomed and plentiful with fresh milk, The hotel is situated minutes away walking from the main centre of Diano Marina where thare is a good variety of shops including well stocked supermarkets, delis and bars for ice cream, Aperol spritz and iced coffees of course, For those brave enough the hotel offers the use of bikes which can be borrowed on a daily basis, There is plenty of places to sit within the hotel itself, either on your own balcony or within/outside the hotel itself on its sun terrace or around the pool area, All are well kept and maintained, Itinary for the trip itself included trips to San Remo, Nice and Menton, Well worth going on if only for the spectacular costal scenery and of course sunshine, Informative and effective drivers Jason and Andre also added to this, Once again we thouroughly enjoyed our holiday and stay in Diano Marina , due to the service received throughout from Shearings from booking to the holiday itself, In addition the Italian hospitality from the staff of the Hotel Mediterraneo and the service they provided to us, made our holiday what it was, As they say it is a wondeful life and hope to be back again,

We recently returned from the Riviera of flowers trip, & enjoyed all aspects of the tour.The only downside was the terrible food which was barely edible. We recently returned from the Riviera of flowers trip, & enjoyed all aspects of the tour.The only downside was the terrible food which was barely edible. The food was thrown onto your plate by rushed staff. We feel that the hotel cannot cope with large amounts of coach tours.Other than this, the hotel was very nice, and our room was clean and serviced daily.The barman was friendly and very efficient.
