I've visited Venice in December and it was a very nice choice of time. There were not as many tourists as usual and i had a whole week to explore the city so my choice of the hotel was simple: not too expensive and at the same time with good service. It is located not in Venice itself but on the island but at the same time it's very good connected. You can take Vaporetto and get where you want very fast The service was good, the manager was very helpful and nice. The building from the inside is renovated though it has a bit of a decadence style. You can have breakfast for a small price, there is also a vending and a coffee machine. The cleaning was done every day. The area is very calm so it's not noisy at all. Not far you can find several shops as well as the pharmacy.

“Dated hotel in need of tlc”

This was a group booking. On arrival they didnt appear to know who had what rooms and just dished out keys at random. One person found bed bugs. This was a group booking. On arrival they didnt appear to know who had what rooms and just dished out keys at random. One person found bed bugs. Decor was dated but the rooms were clean and beds made every day and clean towels provided. Good location for getting to Venice. Breakfast was good but the coffee machine didnt work. Three stories with no lift. Wouldn't stay there again.

“A decent hotel, do not expect much from the hotel.”

PROS: 1. 10 Mins walk from the LIDO SME stop for ferry. 2. Easy to locate and bigger rooms, at least the one we got. 3. The staff is supportive and helpful. 4. LIDO is small, so you can cover the whole area in 30-45 Mins max, but it is economical compared to Venice. 5. Restaurants are near by and y… more

PROS: 1. 10 Mins walk from the LIDO SME stop for ferry. 2. Easy to locate and bigger rooms, at least the one we got. 3. The staff is supportive and helpful. 4. LIDO is small, so you can cover the whole area in 30-45 Mins max, but it is economical compared to Venice. 5. Restaurants are near by and you can get any type of food. 6. They do provide microwave oven so if you have something ready to cook you can use it. 7. They have good facility for hot water. Cons: 1. The rooms are old and not that well maintained, so do not keep more expectations. 2. They have breakfast, but will prefer that you have it somewhere else. But if you go out you wont find any other place for breakfast. So make sure you have plan for that. 3. There are few good hotels , so you should research before you book. If you do not get anything good you can opt for this hotel. 4. Is was a villa converted to Hotel, so they do not have lift. If you get a room at first or second floor be prepared to carry your luggage till top. 5. No toiletries or water bottle in the rooms, so carry one of yours. 6. The bed sheets are clean but the blankets are not comfortable to sleep.
