“family room in venice”

Large rooms that can hold a whole family. we had a room with a queen bed and 3 separate twin beds allowing for our family of 5 to easily stay. Breakfast was included and the location was perfect. Bed need improvement but for a night or two it was good.

We stayed July 2024 We had two suites… they were very clean but extremely outdated which made the room kind of sketchy! Ans the room had no airflow and extremely dry and stuffy .. stale! The sheets and bathroom were extremely clean .. the top comforter and couches and chair were gross and outdated… more

The sheets and bathroom were extremely clean .. the top comforter and couches and chair were gross and outdated ! Great location but the suites to get to were lots of stairs ! The front desk were very nice and breakfast had great assortment and fine nothing amazing but good assortment ! The location is the best! No bar to grab a drink and sit was a bummer also! It was fine just needs to be updated

“Well positioned and comfortable hotel”

We stayed in a junior Suite at this hotel in May 2024 after finding and booking through Expedia. We were a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews but decided to go ahead with the reservation based on the hotel’s location and price. After reading other TripAdvisor comments it became obvious that coffee/ Kettle facilities were not available in the rooms unless requested, following this guidance we emailed in advance requesting a kettle for the room. We arrived in Venice at 10 am and the staff at the hotel, kindly allowed us to leave our case with them until our room was available at 3 pm The hotel was easy to find, less than one one-minute walk from St Marks Square. On checking in we were taken to our room by a staff member and were pleasantly surprised by the size and layout of the rooms and to discover we had a canal view with a Juliette balcony, but no kettle. After following this up a couple of times the staff were able to provide a kettle, but with no cups or cutlery in the rooms, we decided to borrow these from the dining room at breakfast in the morning. The room was quiet with good double glazing keeping the outside noises out, nicely presented, and typically decorated in Venetian style, however, the only criticism would be the very dated bathroom and lack of hot water at peak times of the day. Breakfast was served from 7.30 to 10.30 am in a large wooden paneled dining room, overlooking a canal with a great selection of continental breakfast choices, including pastries, meats, cheeses, fresh fruit & cereal, and scrambled eggs and bacon, we also witnessed the staff is very accommodating with a gluten-free guest. On checkout, the hotel staff were more than happy for us to leave our luggage in the hotel for the day until we left for the airport but do bear in mind that these cases are not left in a secure room but in a corner of one of the lounges. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Venice, its proximity to St Mark’s Square and the waterfront makes it a perfect base for exploring the rest of the island.
