A beautiful hotel in a peaceful and tranquil part of Venice. You are so close to the water bus transport, one stop away from Lido, and a short walk to St Mark’s Square. This hotel couldn’t be easier to arrive at - no tiny streets to navigate, you either arrive by water taxi and cross a small bridge, or arrive by water bus and walk 5 minute to the hotel door. The hotel is immediately impressive, a stunning converted convent, with gorgeous decor. The staff were incredible, friendly and helpful. Booked a suite with living area as a treat, and wasn’t disappointed. Large space, large bed, spotlessly clean and well appointed. The decor of the room was relaxing and beautiful, with a big deep bath tub and separate powerful shower. Bed was very comfy, slept very well. Breakfast was nice. Eggs and bacon could have been hotter, and sausages would have been nice. But a good selection, and nice coffee and tea, juices, pastries and cakes. Staff at breakfast were delightful and friendly too. Absolutely loved my stay here. My only small complaint would be, the rooms are very warm. The windows are locked shut (presumably for summer mosquitos), and the heating set to high, and the thermostat didn’t seem to do anything. There was no option to set the room anything other than 20°C, but really, the rooms felt around 24°C, so very warm indeed. Otherwise, very enjoyable stay. I’d highly recommend the hotel!

This hotel is a respite from the crowds and hectic pace of the touristy parts of Venice. It's in a former religious convent and there's still a sense of peace and quiet left in the atmosphere. Steps from the front door is a large waterfront park where folks relax on benches, walk their dogs and run. We traveled by boat to the main attractions in Venice so I can't say how long it takes walking. The hotel itself is clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also very nice. For us, it was one of the best parts of Venice.

nicely appointed hotel - more modern/streamlined decor than typical Venetian palazzo style, which I appreciated. Friendly staff, large room (with declicious gift cookies!), good breakfast and we did one dinner there which was actually quite good - didn't see plain salad on the menu but they were happy to make me one when asked. The bar is beautiful and they do huge pours. Very friendly service and cost was very reasonable. It's walkable to the Biennale (<10 min) , a short walk to a bunch of restaurants on v. G. Garibaldi (< 15 min), and it's probably the quietest section of Venice - great in the summer when you need to escape the crowds. There's a vaporetto stop 3 min away so just buy a week pass. If you want greenery and quiet at night, this is the place. If you want to be in the middle of everything, you may prefer elsewhere.

Good quiet location near a water taxi stop to explore all that Venice has. We opted for B&B and the breakfast offering was enough to start our day. Room was big enough for the 2 of us although a little tired as some of the laminated floor had lifted. Unfortunately the room location (room 3) was near the staff business side so from early in the morning all we could hear were doors banging as they went about their business. We had a coke and lemonade from the bar which cost €16! It would of been nice on checkout at 6am to have been told have a safe journey! We've stayed in a few Hotel Indigos this 1 wasn't the best!
