My partner & I were assigned this hotel as part of our wowcher deal and after reading so many bad reviews online we felt very nervous for our stay. However we have been pleasantly surprised - we haven’t found any issues with the hotel at all. The rooms are slightly on the more basic side but that’s what you should expect for a budget hotel but we had no issue with the aircon , shower , temperature of the room etc as other reviews may suggest. The reception staff are very helpful , the breakfast is very satisfactory and it is very very easy to get in and out of venice each day - you can buy tickets from the tobacco shop right next to the hotel & take the 7E bus all the way into venice from the Carducci bus stop round the corner from the hotel (next to John Reed Fitness) We would recommend staying here if you want to do Venice on a budget

Clean and practical - we wished we had a minifridge, but other than that our stay was perfectly enjoyable. Easy to find and near some bus stops. We were in the area for Carnival, and within walking distance of a delicious gelato and wandered into a cute square just north of the hotel with Carnival celebrations, which was a really enjoyable and less tourist-y part of our experience that I'm so glad we had!

Very central from the train station. Lovey restaurant around to eat out. Hotel itself was average, no fridge in room, needed due insulin medication. No kettle in room so can’t make a cup of tea. Very central from the train station. Lovey restaurant around to eat out. Hotel itself was average, no fridge in room, needed due insulin medication. No kettle in room so can’t make a cup of tea. Rooms are very basic, noise level are high, no double glazing, 4-5am can hear the rubbish trucks collecting, and people talking and running up the corridor. Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful check-in is after 3pm so don’t arrive too early.

This is a very basic hotel set in the centre of Mestre, great if you're on a budget and don't require fancy pant bits and pieces in your room. The room itself was quite small but catered to everything we required. At the end of the day I do not go on holiday to stay in a hotel room all day/night. As long as it is clean (which it was) and has all the necessary things you require then this place is ideal. We had a small balcony which looked out on to the main road. The bed was comfortable and the shower had very good water pressure which is always nice. The only downside to our room was that the only mirror available was one in the bathroom. They could do with putting a mirror on the wall in the bedroom (us woman need somewhere to do our make-up and hair). The hotel reception is very small and basic but the staff are friendly and helpful. There is an option to have breakfast (which is a buffet as expected) for 7 euros. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but it did look like a nice selection when we glanced in. The hotel is in a really good location and central (as the name says) to all amentities. There is a bus stop literally 2 minutes walk away where you can jump on a bus for 1.50 euros to go into Venice itself. There are also lots of nice bars/restaurants literally a stones throw away. If I were to return to Mestre I would stay in this hotel again as it was comfortable and had everything I needed (except for the mirror).
