I was in this resort as part of a tour group but if I’d have known just how great it was, I would have stayed for longer! My room was a great size with lots of room for all of my bags. The bathroom was a great size with a bath, shower, toilet and bidet. There were lots of hooks and hanging rails and shelves near the sink for your things. The breakfast was lovely and the wait staff were just a delight to chat to each morning. The breakfast food was great with a good selection of pastries/cakes, breads, spreads, fruit, meat, cheese and cereal. The coffee machines made excellent coffee and there were juices available as well. The bar staff were lovely and were happy to make cocktails or wine or tea or whatever you wanted. There were always snacks at the bar in the afternoon. The reception staff were lovely and so helpful. They would hold our keys when we went out to cycle and give them back to us when we returned. They helped us book restaurants and transport. There was a pool and a nice outdoor are as well as a natural solarium - when it was sunny outside you could sit in the solarium in lovely warmth. If you’re looking for a friendly, welcoming resort with everything that you need in between your visits around beautiful Tuscany, Fortuna Resort is an excellent place to have as your “home away from home”

Flew in to Rome ( fco) from key west,FL via dfw a 3 hr maintenance delay then 10hr+flight rented a car for the 2hr drive to chianciano terme got stuck in traffic for approx. 3 hrs finally made it to the Fortuna about 5pm a long day to say the least. The hotel is far from the maddening crowd, a big outdoor swimming pool rates include a decent breakfast from7:30 to about 10am ...no lunch, set dinner menu daily decent dinner set at 25e per person plus beverages...not bad.there is a bar in the lobby run by Debora and sidekick Miguel. Debora is an asset to this hotel outgoing, friendly enough, my friend got sick and she went out of her way to request special food for him what a sweetheart give that woman a raise and Miguel a very pleasant barback/waiter. Kudos to Sabrina at the front desk very helpful as well as her front desk co-workers, the rooms were ok, the pillows were horrid, and there is no air conditioning, the wi-fi was down the whole time (bummer) other than the staff made up for the shortfalls..the property itself dated especially the two ton key you drop off every time you leave..yeah they still use real keys and to lock/unlock the room doors what a pain in the ..s . Would stay here again now that I know all the in and outs😘

“Recommended even for groups!”

I spent 3 nights in the hotel with a group as a tour leader. The hotel is in a very nice enviroment, and pretty good conditions.The staff was really attentiv and always ready to help. We stayed with HB, and both berakfast and dinner was really nice. I have to say special thank for the staff in the reastaurant. They never stopped smiling, which was a huge plus. Keep up the good work! :)
