Our group of 120 stayed here the week between Christmas and New Year. The rooms were basic, but very clean. The bathrooms had basic toiletries as well as a blow dryer. The breakfast was sufficient, and dinner was average for the 2 nights we ate in. It is about 20 minutes from the city center, but since we were booked with a travel agency, the busses picked us up and dropped us off at our doorstep. The grounds were lovely, and the employees were kind and helpful. Perfect for our needs!

“Peace and quiet”

Salesianum is set in beautiful, large grounds. Although not far from the centre of Rome, one needs a car to get around. Fortunately I was there for a conference and thus just relaxed and enjoyed the countryside. Service is very good and lunch and dinner tasty and enjoyable. The service of breakfast… more

Salesianum is set in beautiful, large grounds. Although not far from the centre of Rome, one needs a car to get around. Fortunately I was there for a conference and thus just relaxed and enjoyed the countryside. Service is very good and lunch and dinner tasty and enjoyable. The service of breakfast needs improvement, an additional coffee machine and breakfast line would help.

Salesianum is a hotel managed by a catholic organization, the place is far from the city centre, but just on a bus stop called "Pisana-Salesiani". Salesianum is a hotel managed by a catholic organization, the place is far from the city centre, but just on a bus stop called "Pisana-Salesiani". Nothing is close to the hotel and you could just walk inside the courtyarda and the park. Rooms are clean, provided with private bathroom and shower, heating and AC, with some religious stuff on the walls, but not too much :). Twin beds are set like an "L" ... so you can't keep them together if you need. This hotel is on the way for Fair of Rome and you can reach its with a public bus.

The place is about 25 mins bus drive to the Fierra di Roma convention center There is a bus stop ( bus #808 ) that makes a stop at the north gate. Or you can catch up the train going to Fiumicino at Ponte Galleria where the makes a stop. The rooms clean with free wifi, morning breakfast so simple: a cofffee dispencer, croissants, cereals and assorted Danish pastries plus yoghurt. For 5 nights I paid 640.50 Euros plus tax. If you want a quiet place far from retail outlets this is for you.
