Hotel was very clean , good, safe location, friendly helpful staff but I booked it months ago and after we checked out and I looked again at the listing here it is sooo misrepresented. Hotel was very clean , good, safe location, friendly helpful staff but I booked it months ago and after we checked out and I looked again at the listing here it is sooo misrepresented. Rooms are smaller ( position of cameras?) much more worn/ older than the pictures showed and there was no breakfast or bar. We did have a nice view of the towers but our persionas were broken so it was an issues to open and close. With the age and no breakfast doubt that we would stay there again- really misrepresented.

“Arrived to find the stinky bathroom trash from previous tenant!”

This started out bad but was OK. Upon entering the bathroom I discovered they hadn't removed the previous occupants bathroom trash bag which was full of smelly cigarette butts. The room smelled like cigarettes the entire three days. I regret not marching directly back to the reception to complain. … more

This started out bad but was OK. Upon entering the bathroom I discovered they hadn't removed the previous occupants bathroom trash bag which was full of smelly cigarette butts. The room smelled like cigarettes the entire three days. I regret not marching directly back to the reception to complain. There was also a piece of plastic in the shower and a red string on the floor. There is no place to hang wet towels which they didn't change. The bed was fine and the hotel is in a quiet place, also close to sites. There is a 8.40€/night added tax. The website shows a breakfast room which doesn't exist.

First of all I don’t like to give bad reviews they are honest experiences and observations and this constructive review is no different and have given it an average score based on the price and as outlined below. Location is within walking distance of train, bus stations and city centre. Check-in and departure were easy and efficient, the room itself had seen better days, the pictures look better than my experience though the positives were the fridge and a good shower and plenty of clean towels and after a good shower had a pretty good nights sleep after giving the room a good airing as I went out for a meal and that I was thankfully staying the one night. It felt a little seedy due to the affect that not all the lights in the room and bathroom worked and then because of that questioned the actual cleanliness of the room, I propped the chair against the door as I didn’t feel particularly safe and for good reason, as my initial approach to the hotel outside was a gathering of homeless people and on my return from an evening meal there was more homeless people drinking etc, on the other side of the hotel in the street a woman was turning tricks with a customer. Would I stay here again… definitely not!

Like my title says, the location of this hotel is fantastic. In walking distance to Bologna bus and train station, and also in walking distance to the city centre where everything happens. Like my title says, the location of this hotel is fantastic. In walking distance to Bologna bus and train station, and also in walking distance to the city centre where everything happens. Having said that, for what you get, it is a little overpriced. The hotel has seen better days, and the bathroom smelled of mould. It was comfortable enough for a short stay, but any longer than a few days and I think you would be better off finding somewhere else. Most of the staff were friendly, but there was one staff member in particular that when I was going upstairs to my room, he called out from reception and asked me to show me the key to my room (as if to prove I stayed at the hotel). I thought that was really unusual and I can honestly say, after visiting 90+ countries and staying in countless hotels, I've never been asked to show my room key as proof of staying at the hotel. It made me quite uncomfortable.

“Good location and friendly staff”

Hotel is in decent location about 10 mins walk to train station and 12/15 mins to the centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is in decent location about 10 mins walk to train station and 12/15 mins to the centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room itself and hotel in general was very dated but the room was clean and was also a good size. The water pressure in the shower was good but the air-con wasn't very powerful. Beds not very comfortable but we only stayed for one night.
