We just returned home from Israel where we spent three nights of our trip a the Scots Hotel in Tiberias. It's a beautiful historic property with several separate stone buildings. “Perfect location on Sea of Galilee.”
Perfect location on Sea of Galilee. Rooms very comfortable and buffet quality good. Breakfast can be crowded when it opens but give it 15 minutes and you’re fine. Separate wine cave very enjoyable. Pool is great, didn’t try the gym. Perfect place to stare at the lake and scenery and explore from.

Tiberias is a dump of a city but we stayed there as a jumping off point for four days of touring in the North with a private guide.
