“Feeling of coming really home”
King David Hotel is not just a Hotel, it is the combination of absolute luxury and phenomenal hospitality! Honestly: not some employee had been friendly, ANY of these soul touching warmhearted members of the King David dream-team, had giving me the feeling to be a welcomed guest.

“A beautiful and historic hotel”
It was a privilege to stay at this beautiful and historic hotel. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a lot of storage, a nice view, and good natural light. The bathroom was modern with a double vanity, large tub and a separate shower.

“Unbelievable luxury”
I have stayed for five days at King David during professional conference. Everything was thought through by the hotel staff. This hotel operates by “your wish is our command “ mode. Breakfast was excellent ! Room service was great. The hotel has great hair salon.

The historic King David Hotel never fails to impress and to pamper. Having stayed here many times over the past few years, the immaculate rooms (with such comfortable beds and true blackout curtains), exceptional service, and the unfailingly scrumptious breakfast buffet are reasons enough to spend your nights in Jerusalem here. (And a shout out to Hany in the dining room who always makes us feel special!) On this visit, moreover, we finally had the chance to take both the hotel and Old City tour with Dr. Haim Cohen—incredible! Thanks to his deep knowledge, we learned even more about what makes this hotel unique and singularly historic. (And given that we thought we knew it all—well, we had SO much more to learn!) Similarly, Dr. Cohen’s tour of the Old City offered greater insight into sites we thought we knew and took us off the beaten path to alleys full of insight and history. The hours we spent on these tours were highlights not just of this stay, but of the many many visits to Jerusalem throughout the years!

I've stayed here numerous times; the hotel has gone through some changes over the past few years. Our stay here was basically fine but there are some pain points here that make me want to go somewhere else next visit. There is no steam room, indoor pool and the gym is small (but basically adequate). I don't want to have to run to the YMCA across the street to work out and swim. The Inbal has built new rooms that are large and decent which I saw (I liked the grand premiere rooms and the royal or ambassador suite -- the former has a connecting room), and they have an indoor pool, better gym and spa facilities. Also a much better breakfast spread. They also have an executive lounge and this place does not. Those are really nice to have when you want a snack at lunch time or in the evening. At the King David, on Saturday night at 9:30 there was nothing to eat in the lobby and a total of 4 items on the room service menu. The Grill Room is excellent and shabbat meals were good enough but rather pricey. Cost me well over $1,000 just to feed a family of 4 Friday night dinner and Saturday lunch. Hotel doesn't have a concierge on site anymore. Pre-arrival I tried to organize some touring but the replies from the concierge's travel supplier were mickey-mouse and not useful, meaning he proposed one or two options and didn't even quote the prices, so i had to make arrangements elsewhere. The bed in my suite 320 was so hard that it was more comfortable sleeping on the sofa. No electrical outlets in the bathrooms; closet lights never turned off at night when we closed the doors. TV in the living room had few channels working and they said they fixed it but they did not. I don't understand why they don't check these things before the guest arrives, which presumably they would do if it was a VIP instead of me staying in a top suite. Breakfast is good enough but for 4 days it gets boring because they put out the same salads and pastries every day. The hot items you can order from the kitchen were pretty awful. What you do get is a very nice plush room and some pretty views if you are on the old city side and they do put nice treats in the room. What you don't get is a homey-like feeling; we couldn't light Chanukah candles in the lobby here. At the Inbal, you could. I've always felt that this hotel was the gold standard in Jerusalem, but it now finally has a peer that warrants a visit next time.
