PROS * Good quality hotel for its price bracket * Family hotel for children with video, games and artificial sandy beach, which is novel and successful idea with a slide * Each room used to have a small kitchenette to store food and cook and also a small dining room table (convenient to work there too with computers and documents) and- best of all- a large thick sliding wood panel door between the bedroom and the sitting room, allowing one guest to sleep in total darkness while the other can be in the lighted living area (not our room this 17th visit) * The place is well managed with good efficient friendly and nice service. * The cleaning staff are always busy in the public areas, and the cleaning staff of our room was also very good. * The food is good and plentiful. There are many helpful busy workers who are moving as fast as they can to help the guests as quickly as they can. * Private parking for guests * Close to the Hanaya Beach * Close to the massive biggest most elegant hotels * Within the hotel building complex are several restaurants, an exclusive shopping store row and also a theatre for the WOW performance CONS * Very functional and practical- not lush nor fancy nor elegant * The synagogue is a converted conference room that can double for business meetings. The bare minimum Torah stands are portable and placed there. * Private parking can get full "I VISITED THIS PLACE"... ... for the 17th time, after a respite of almost seven years. I was satisfied to be back here- it is my go-to and only choice for Eilat, since it is surely adequate, less expensive, close to the beach, decent good food and there had been kitchenettes in every room. WAS IT WORTH THE COST? Yes WOULD "I VISIT THIS PLACE" AGAIN? Yes, for my 18th visit ADVICE * If it's important, ask for and be sure to get a room with a kitchenette * None of the rooms have "views" of the beach, so no need to ask for that * Take advantage of the private hotel parking, because paid parking is 24 hours in the area, including Saturday. Be sure to park early on Friday in order to ensure a spot.

We booked the Riviera for a 3 night stay but were upgraded by Isrotel to the Royal Garden. I had booked 2 rooms for my family but they phoned us before arrival and offered us a very large family suite instead. The room was beautiful, had everything we needed (2 bathrooms, 7 beds, a garden), a kitchen area. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful, set around a courtyard with alot of trees and various pools. Shame a few of the pools were closed and they didn't tell us that in advance. The hotel is very close to the beach, and also to shops. We had a great time

Initially having high expectations, particularly for a flagship hotel, I found the check-in process to be tardy, albeit within the hotel's policy, which was acceptable. However, the service felt rather affected, with the receptionist conveying a sense of condescension as if merely engaging with guests was a favor. This unfavorable impression persisted upon entering the room, where numerous maintenance and cleanliness issues were immediately apparent. The floors were soiled, strewn with remnants from previous occupants, and notably lacking in vacuuming. Furthermore, pervasive dust accumulation was evident throughout the room. Adding to the disappointment were malfunctioning light switches and an inoperative sliding door, alongside a noticeably deteriorated room safe with non-functional buttons. When I brought these concerns to the attention of the receptionist, the dismissive response, "What do you want me to do about it? I can send someone now, otherwise I will forget about it," underscored the hotel's disregard for cleaning and maintenance standards expected of a flagship establishment, and fell short of the elevated customer service one would anticipate from a allegedly upscale hotel. Despite these shortcomings, the redeeming aspect of my stay was the commendable quality of the food served during breakfast and dinner. The cuisine was of a notably high standard, with a diverse and appealing selection. Additionally, the waitstaff exhibited exceptional graciousness and attentiveness. In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel, particularly given the exorbitant price point.
