Andrae at the bartleys restaurant was suberb! She took excellent care of us and we wanted for nothing! Her personality was the best and we had a great time. My entire family is visiting for my wedding this week and we are thrilled with our experience! Thanks Andrae!

Brought our family of four to Dublin and feel so fortunate The Grafton was where we landed. The location cannot be better! We walked to all meals, shopping and even a darling park (St Stephen’s) that was great for little kids with an actual playground and older kids, where we played with frisbees/football. And the service was even better than the location. We were always greeted by two kind gentlemen who were at the entrance to offer an umbrella, make suggestions, answer questions, etc. Being from California, we were truly impressed with the kindness and warmth of the staff. Gary was specifically helpful and hospitable. The hotel itself feels very ‘boutique-y’ and has a great downstairs bar for the adults. You cannot go wrong with this hotel.

“Our wonderful 2 weeks at Grafton Hotel”

This was my 3rd stay at The Grafton Hotel and as always, I enjoyed it. Grafton is my hotel-of-choice for its location, service and the comfortable rooms. Special shout out to Adrae at Bartley's for her happy disposition and making us feel so welcomed.

This hotel has a perfect location in Dublin and very comfy beds but that’s where the pluses end. It actually feels like they went out of their way to make the rooms as dysfunctional as possible. I’d like to invite the designers of this hotel to spend a few nights in one of the rooms. Here’s what you can expect at every room level (I checked with the front desk to confirm this): 1. Not one drawer and no closet. There is a small rod sticking out of the wall with 5 hangers to hang all your clothes. 2. There are a few short shelves that are too narrow to put any clothing. Maybe a make up bag. You can put your clothes on the desktop or the chair. 3. The only mirror in the bathroom is over the toilet even though there is plenty of room for one over the sink. Instead, they chose to keep that wall empty. 4. Speaking of empty, there is plenty of room for drawers or proper shelves so you don’t have to keep every item of clothing out in the open. But they chose bare walls instead. 5. Bedside tables are tiny and round even though there is plenty of room for a piece with a larger, more useable surface. 6. The huge low hanging ceiling lamp is almost guaranteed to hit your head every time you get out of bed. 7. The bathroom sink is so low it is more suited to a child than an adult. I’m 5’4” and had to fully bend over to brush my teeth. A hotel should feel like home away from home and be both comfortable and functional. It should not be frustrating at every turn and force you to live out of your suitcase or have your clothes tossed all over the room. This is not the time for fashion over function but sadly that’s what this hotel’s rooms offer. If none of this bothers you, it is a great location.
