The Radisson Blu, Golden Lane, Dublin is a fantastic place to stay. I’ve stayed in a few Dublin hotels but the Radisson Blu is the best by a mile. We checked in just before 3pm, advised check in time, but our rooms weren’t ready. However the staff took our luggage and stored it behind the reception. They labelled all our luggage and gave us tickets for reclaiming everything once our rooms were ready. Whilst waiting we took a short stroll to the bar area and ordered food. The service was excellent and the food was fabulous. I ordered the haddock and chips but was unable to finish it. The haddock alone covered the plate. Everyone was the same: fabulous food but unable to finish everything. Definitely no need for desserts and me with the ultimate sweet tooth. After our meal we returned to reception but our rooms still weren’t ready. There was also a problem with my payment, it looked like I was overcharged. Thankfully Sharreen was on hand to sort everything. He suggested that he upgrade one room and changed our room numbers so that we could go straight up and prepare for our evening out. Sharreen also gave us an extended checkout time the following day to enable him to get the overpayment looked into and sorted. On top of that he gave us drinks vouchers by way of an apology to use in the bar. Our rooms were unbelievably good: absolutely spotless, each with a large bathroom and huge double shower. The bed was so so comfortable with two soft and two firm pillows. There was a large television with a wide array of channels available. The room had a lovely light, airy feel to it and an extremely comfortable sofa to lounge on. A kettle, cups, saucers, ice holder, cutlery, an iron and a top rate hairdryer were all available in the room. Top rate shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc was also available. The other room had all the above but also included. Coffee pod maker, dressing gowns and slippers. The hotel was bright, airy, well lit and absolutely spotless. Not a fingerprint in sight. Our sleep that night was so so good. It was like sleeping on air. Thank goodness for the late checkout. After breakfast the next morning we returned to our rooms for another nap before packing and vacating the premises. Breakfast was superb. Nothing was left off the menu and the gluten free range was highly commendable. I opted for the fry up with toast, cranberry juice and a bowl of fresh fruit. I later returned for a blueberry muffin and croissant. Both soft and crumbly. The coffee was black and hot, not tepid. I loved the breakfast, as did the others with me. After breakfast I spoke to Emily who, in a matter of minutes, sorted my overpayment. She warned me that the refund might take five days, it was in my account before I returned to my room. Whilst all the staff were friendly, helpful, so pleasant and always smiling, four stood out for particular mention. Sharreen, Emily, Iryna in reception made our stay so memorable, as did Grace in the bar. These four are the epitome of what the Radisson Blu strives to be and because of their attention to guests I cannot wait to return for a longer stay.

“Short stay in Dublin”

Thanks for the exceptional service at the front desk by Batuhan , from the moment we arrived Batuhan was incredibly welcoming and attentive. It was a super quick and smooth check in. Location and the rooms were great as well. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable.

“Nicest hotel”

This is the nicest hotel I’ve stayed at in many years. Room size was huge , clean , comfy and location felt safe and close to all we wanted to do. We had family room 2x double beds everything was perfect

The service we received from the front end staff was A1. We had a bit of a hiccup with our room which the staff went out of their way and beyond to rectify. The breakfast is plentiful with lots of hot and cold options. The hotel is in a 10 minute walking distance to everything, far enough that it’s quiet. Our suite was wonderful, well appointed very clean. Loved the shoe shiner by the elevator, I could see my reflection in my boots. The only thing I can say is that this hotel caters to corporate. There were lots of guests you could tell were there for conferences. So it had a sterile feel when it came to the feeling vibe of the place. If you want boutique intimate experience this isn’t it. But the service is amazing, we felt very well taken care of. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was good. Thanks for taking such good care of us.
