Absolutely delighted to share my exceptional experience at FOTA Island Resort in Cork! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality that it set the tone for an incredible two-day stay. A special mention must go to John Coleman, our host for the visit, who went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. John could not have been any better — his attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism made us feel instantly at home. He took great care to ensure every aspect of our visit was flawless, and his personal touch added an extra layer of comfort and joy to our time at the resort. Every member of the FOTA Island team, without exception, displayed the same level of dedication and pride in their work. Each encounter with the staff was marked by an eagerness to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. The service was nothing short of impeccable, and it felt as though everyone took personal pride in providing a world-class experience. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, creating a serene and luxurious ambiance that allowed us to fully relax and unwind. Whether it was in the reception, the dining areas, or the wellness facilities, the staff’s approach to service was thoughtful and tailored, anticipating our needs even before we voiced them. To anyone considering a visit, I cannot recommend FOTA Island Resort enough. “One night is not enough!!”

We stayed for one night and from the moment we arrived it was such a warm and cosy atmosphere. We stayed for one night and from the moment we arrived it was such a warm and cosy atmosphere. The reception area of the hotel was stunning, I could have sat in front of the fire with a book and wine and not moved for a week!! We had food in the bar which was excellent, bedroom was very relaxing and comfortable. Pool facilities were very modern and spotless. Breakfast the next morning was a highlight for us, we were looked after by Jane who was amazing! Great selection from the buffet and plenty of choice on the menu. I couldn't fault anything, we left feeling very chilled and relaxed! Next time we plan to stay for longer, fit in the spa and a round of golf. We are looking forward to booking again!
