“Great hotel close to beach”

We stayed in the hotel this week. Reception stall were very helpful.food in the bistro was excellent and we were well looked after by Clive.rooms were very big and warm and a view of the ocean was nice.Breakfast was very good.overall a top class Hotel well be definitely back again.

Absolutely fantastic stay at the diamond Coast on Monday the 14th,from start to finish we were made to feel so welcome,and greeted with the warmish of welcome esp from mary clake, room was so comfy and food was amazing, all staff so friendly and helpful, we both came back feeling so relaxed, it's our 8th year coming to the hotel and it always impresses us and always makes so warm and welcoming and wanting to return again. Diamond Coast Beware you will end up staying longer than you intended at Diamond Coast resort, it feels like staying with family, which is exceptional for such a large hotel. I was travelling solo, the staff made me feel as if I was home, the hotel's customer service is truly exceptional, definitely exceeded my expectations, believe me when I say it is one of the best hotel experiences I have had. I booked initially booked for one night, I was familiar with the hotel from previously visits to Ireland I wanted to see what it was like, I booked for one night via booking.com with the intention of moving on, in the end I stayed for five! I stayed on and travelled back each day because of the excellent first class service I received from the moment I arrived with the warm welcome from Orla, at reception the check-in process was very smooth and efficient. Orla and Eve at reception, were fountains of knowledge. I was delighted spacious room and two comfortable beds, combined with a breath taking view of the peninsular and golf course I was delighted. There was both a dining area and work space, three mirrors a generous wardrobe and plenty of drawers. The bathroom was large with a bath which is always a bonus, decent shower with shower gel and soap provided. The restaurant is elegantly decorated, each morning Bridget restaurant manager was exceptional, spending time speaking to each of the guests making them feel valued, she is a Diamond, with her efficient staff on hand with a warm smile, nothing was a bother to the lovely Mags, who remembered my tea preferences and scrambled eggs cooked to order. The breakfast buffet was well stocked, food clearly marked with separate provision for glutton free option and toaster laid out separately. Diamond Coast is a beautiful, in a great location, plenty of parking, the road network is easily accessible, combined with the opportunity to take walks along the beach at the end of the day it is priceless. There is plenty of amenities for families, with the golf course on the door step, nine holes are perfect for families, a tennis course and play area for children, the only thing that would make this hotel better would be a swimming pool and wellness/spa facility, although if these were available I would never have left! This hotel will always have my heart, I will be back with my husband and kids, it is excellent value for money.

We visited here this weekend, myself my husband and 3 kids. We were in a family suite which was huge! Biggest family room we’ve ever stayed in. Separate area for kids beds with their own tv and another tv in the adults area. We also needed a cot bed and there was still lots of room. There is a mini fridge also which was handy. We played a few games of snooker in the snooker room which was great. The food was incredible. We ate dinner in the bistro and the portions were huge. Really lovely hearty food. Breakfast was great too and all staff were super friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend. The only thing missing is a pool.
