Everything was good & we paid upfront so we got a huge discount. GETTING THERE We took Scoot from Singapore, about 3-hr flight to Lombok direct. There were other flights but not a direct one. The new airport is now in Central Lombok. So to get to Senggigi will take about 1.5 hours. This is nearer to South Lombok, Kuta or Selong Belanak. THE RESORT The Beach resort is located directly beside the ocean on Mangsit bay, next to the beaches of Senggigi. Offering a wide variety of accommodation within its 45 villas, suites & rooms. They have an oceanfront restaurant and infinity pool that boast exquisite uninterrupted sunsets across to Bali and Mount Agung. Nice! AROUND THE RESORT Walking around the resort felt like Bali but a little different; the statues, the landscaping & the colours were distinct to Lombok. Walkways were easy to navigate & adequately lighted. The main pool sits in front of the beach & there were more sun-huts along the resort. FYI, this resort does not have direct access to the beach. Instead, it is reinforced by bouldered breakwaters lining the beachfront. The waves beat those walls & it’s nice to hear those hard crashes occasionally. Walk further up, down some steps & ur on the beach. Waters here can get hard in Dec with the rainy season. Not advisable for young kids or old folks. Puri Mas Beach Front Restaurant serves some of the best local & international food, good for vegetarian & vegan too. Breakfast is served from 7am - 10/11am. The view was good, unobstructed facing Bali. Puri Mas Spa & Wellness Centre is located some 7mins drive, 2km away. For single guest, there was a Spa hut at the resort & for more than one, resort guests will get complimentary transfer to & from the Wellness Centre. There were many other Spa or massage outlets nearby but u get better service when u are the resort guest; might be pricey but quality was better. This Spa closes early, do check wit them. There was a convenience store AlfaMart say 5mins walk from the resort. This mart was god-sent, haha! Nothing else line the road along the resort, u need to drive out. CHECK-IN Check in was stated at 3pm. We arrived at 5pm & check in was fast. Porters took our luggage to the villa & the manager showed us the space. Wow! 
The private pool greeted everyone as we walked in. VILLA Single-storey 3-bedroom villa with attached bathrooms; 2 with bath tubs complete with toiletries & rain showerheads. Large dining halls indoor & outdoors. Coffee & tea making stuff. Fridge in every room. No TV & no sound system. No cutleries or kitchen stuff. Best thing was availability of fresh drinking water from a live dispenser. This saves plastic usage & provide safe drinking water for guests; hot & cold! Thank you. The entire floor of the villa sits under the roof which regulates fresh air from the sea. Only the bedrooms were ceiling covered with AC fitted. The bedsheets, beds, pillows were all good. The wardrobe has got hangers, ironing board & a safe. We were provided towels including pool towels. Everything in the villa worked! They were not worn or spoilt. Important: Pls bag ur trash properly, there might be ants if u leave food behind. Also, bring mosquito repellent. They get nasty sometimes. BREAKFAST Breakfast was served in the restaurant. All guests will hv a mini fruit platter as a starter. Squeeze the lime & u get zinged for more! There is a menu that we go for daily; 1st set of local or continental; then another side dish like waffles etc. I would not recommend children having both dishes, might be too much for them. Anyway, I really enjoyed the breakfast while getting that morning sea breeze. Try their local coffee Tubruk but do give them sometime to prepare, they drip slower in Lombok. Tea was served in a pot. Fruit juices were limited, do check wit them. The Chef & his team were so good serving us & other guests, u get that true Indonesian hospitality here. DIVE SHOP There is a dive shop “Bogus Divers Lombok” in Puri Mas; again I would recommend engaging a vendor with the place that u stay. 
Mahsun is a dive pro & has good knowledge of Lombok & its surroundings. We had a great two days with him; one day Mataram City Tour & second day Gili Trawangan. The service he & Mr Agus provided is impeccable. So honest, helpful & most importantly safety-oriented. I will call them again on my next trip to Lombok. PARKING If you rent a car to drive or bike, there were parking lots available but not many. Parking was free & best to share your vehicle number with the hotel, mainly for security & safety reasons. STAFF I must commend the staff for making our stay a pleasant one; very attentive, very customer-oriented but its the Indonesian hospitality showed that truly encapsulates my experience. Overall, it was an excellent stay! After all the attractions & island hopping, I felt relaxed coming back to the villa & dipping in the pool. Thank you Puri Mas Resort for making our stay a perfect one!
