Review for Pondok Santi We spent three unforgettable nights at Pondok Santi, and it was, without a doubt, one of the most exceptional stays we’ve ever had. While we initially intended to book the Private Pool Ocean Villa, we ended up reserving the Private Ocean View Villa without a pool. To our surprise, the team graciously upgraded us, a gesture of kindness that truly set the tone for our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Maria, whose presence made our stay extraordinary. Her genuine warmth, energy, and unparalleled hospitality elevated our experience. Maria’s aura is the heart of Pondok Santi, and her absence, even for a short time, was palpable. She is truly a treasure who made each day special. The property itself is breathtaking. The luxurious villa, the impeccable service, and the heartfelt “welcome back home” greetings from the staff created a sense of belonging we’ve rarely felt elsewhere. The on-site spa was another highlight, with kind and skilled therapists who left us feeling completely rejuvenated. Pondok Santi is not just a beautiful property—it’s an experience of unmatched tranquility, care, and luxury. It’s easily the best place we’ve ever stayed, and we will treasure these memories forever.

We have been lucky enough throughout the years to travel many different countries and seen many lovely hotels & local areas. Pondock santi is by far one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. The private boat transfer was seemless and definitely worth the money to get across private on speed boat. The men doing it were lovely n extremely kind to a nervous 8 year old with sea sickness. The resort was absolutely stunning, the grounds were maintained to an extremely high standard n from the minute we arrived everyone was extremely kind n welcoming. We stayed in a two bed villa which was massive n absolutely beautiful. The food was amazing, we ate out once but the food was too good to miss another night. The local dishes were extremely tasty and excellent. The breakfasts were amazing, but the form a little confusing to fill out the night before. We did a private boat tour from the hotel and this really did not disappoint, the turtles were amazing, the guide was Brillant and being just the 4 of us we got to experience a much better tour of the turtles. It was well worth the extra money. Everyone on the resort working was lovely, and so welcoming, the gardeners were so lovely and the man making bracelets and cavings was lovely for the children. The only downside is, there was only a small amount of food that my fussy children would eat. So lived off pizza and chips. The 2 bed villa was amazing, it was very open so we had a few people walk into the kitchen area and have a look in our rooms so decided to sleep in separate rooms with a child each as the rooms were a distance apart and too far to leave an 8 & 11 year old. The villas themselves were absolutely stunning, they were decorated lovely and the house keeping staff were very nice. Big shout out to the bike people and sorting our bikes everyday with the codes. This made our holiday staying here, it was definitely the highlight of our trip Thank you

Best beach restaurant in Gili! This place is so good! I highly recommend. We went there to spend the day by the beach, and then came back in the evening for dinner. Best beach restaurant in Gili! This place is so good! I highly recommend. We went there to spend the day by the beach, and then came back in the evening for dinner. The staff was so nice and attentive. We ordered Fish tacos twice…. It was so so great. Gin Cooler was refreshing. We had prawns and snapper on the bbq, and some delicious appetizers from IJO which is their dinner restaurant. You can mix the menus. Do not leave Gili without going there! Khairul, our server, was absolutely the best! The lady was very nice too…. Well the whole team was amazing!!!!

We had a wonderful family holiday where the staff were super friendly and helpful. The property was well maintained and the food was amazing. The bathroom was well done being outside surrounded by palms. We had plenty of clean water available in our rooms. There were plenty of activities available… more
