Recently stayed at this lovely hotel and couldn't be happier. It is located on Jl Danau Tamblingan, what is considered the main drag, in probably what I would call the middle of Sanur with loads of shopping and places to eat plus ATMs within minutes walk. I gave 4 stars for location only because its not beachfront. The walk to Pantai Karang would be about 5 mins. It is super quiet and peaceful with beautifully maintained gardens and pools, 3 of them and one of which has a pool bar. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean and provide everything you need apart from ironing facility. A lot of power outlets which is sometimes rare in this class of establishment. The beds are on the firm side but I was able to cope with that and my 10 year old granddaughter, who commented on the fact, still slept like a log. The staff are so lovely and extremely welcoming. There is breakfast which some might call limited but I found perfectly fine. I am not a person who loads multiple plates at that time of day though. There is also a cafe with a small, but delicious menu that can also be delivered to your room and they cook until around 9pm I think. A spa is onsite also. Had a great 90 minute massage. I think this is a wonderful, quality accommodation which equates to some on the beachfront that charge double the price so I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

We landed at Swastika Bungalows by chance because we cancelled previous plans to travel Ubud. What a great traditional Bali Accommodation we loved it so much we also cancel less appropriate Accommodation in Sanur and extended our stay. We were given Deluxe twin rooms 227 & 215 lovely big rooms with everything you need they were quiet with great air con that was whisper quiet. Clean bathrooms with shower seperate I could not fault a thing. My daughter’s room was 3 single beds for her and the boys and plenty big enough. We were right behind the large pool with swim up bar very beautiful gardens boasting 2 more pools. Breakfast was adequate and covered most bases. Will definitely recommend and we will call this our Sanur home every visit. Staff very helpful and very warm and welcoming

I'll start with the positives: the location is good (easy to walk around in Sanur), the pools are great, the staff is kind. This being said, here are the negatives: rooms were not clean (hair - not mine - on the floor, stains on the sheets), pillows hard as stone, rooms on the ground floor dark and damp, bathroom very minimalistic, but the breakfast is the worst part. Stale juices and water, one sort of tea only, burned coffee, pancakes not cooked enough etc. Considering the number of hotels in Sanur, I'm sure that there are better choices out there at an equivalent price.

“Swashtika not worth what they charge.”

The door is locked with a padlock when not in room. When in use it's a pice of wood across the back door handles. Which don't close properly and mozzie's can enter. Rooms are tired. No safe in room. The door is locked with a padlock when not in room. When in use it's a pice of wood across the back door handles. Which don't close properly and mozzie's can enter. Rooms are tired. No safe in room. The bed was 2 doubles pushed together to make a larger bed with different height mattresses. We complained and they offered to add a blanket under Neath to make more even. The sheets were stained not sure if clean and stained or dirty and stained. They changed them. Staff were friendly Good central location but poor quality. Left after first night. They offered upgrade but had nothing avail .
