Four Seasons offers a unique experience due to its stunning location, gorgeous scenery and beautiful villas. Not to mention the super duper swimming pools and other facilities. Villas - as a family we had two connecting villas that were accessible by a timber painted doorway. It was perfect for us. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and spacious and all well maintained. The villa swimming pool was deep with a fountain which unfortunately I found annoying at night. Facilities- awesome pools we swam in all of them and my granddaughter loved the waterfall pool best of all. Restaurants - the best aspect of this hotel was the scrumptious food!! We loved Sundara down at the beach. The food was delicious and the views stunning especially the sunsets. Staff - All a credit to this establishment. Well done 👏 Overall - Although the hotel was 70% full you felt like the hotel was empty. There was never a problem getting a deck chair at the pool or finding a table at the restaurants or bar. We have been coming to Bali for over 15 years and have stayed at numerous 5 star hotels and villas. The Four Seasons Hotel has now become one of our top favourites.

I stayed at this property in a Premier Family Villa in July 2024 with my husband and two children, aged 7 and 9. Where to even begin with regards to this extraordinarily special property. Location - our favourite beach in Bali - Jimbaran Beach As a family we have stayed at Seminyak, Nusa Dua and and Ubud, the later of which is inland and has no beach. The beach experience at Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay has been superior in every way. Golf buggies are readily available to take you down to Coconut Grove, which is a beautiful private grove overlooking the main (public) beach. Coconut Grove itself is grassy and offers plenty of shady sun lounges under beautiful trees, as well as some sunny spots. Private toilet not open to the public are provided and are continually cleaned. Several attendants are available to assist you, and there was never any trouble getting a sunlounge. The food and beverage service of Sundara (one of the resort restaurants) is available at normal Sundara prices. WONDERFUL surf lessons are available in English, and our kids loved these. Boogie boards are available for free. There are no touts selling things on the beach. Critically, and we learnt this the hard way in Nusa Dua, while Nusa Dua Beach is plagued by motorised water sports including jet packs and banana boats, there are no motorised sports at Jimbaran Beach. This created a very different feel, and we were able to hear the waves crashing from our villa. Even the fishing boats that go out at dawn are non-motorised. This creates a heavenly environment that is also, without jetskis and so on, safer and calmer for children. The beach itself is the most perfect beach I have ever seen for learning to surf, with consistent but very small waves, much smaller than at Seminyak. The beach is cleaned using a robot, but this is owned by the Four Seasons. Therefore the beach, as it runs from Four Seasons to Coconut Grove, is immaculately clean, and looks the way it must have looked before the invention of plastic. Credit to Four Seasons for cleaning this public beach. However, beyond the location on the beach where Coconut Grove is, the beach has a decent amount of rubbish, especially bottle caps, toothbrushes, cigarette packs, cigarette butts and so on. I would love to see the Four Seasons model be used to clean other beaches in Bali. The views! The Four Seasons villas are sensitively built into the hillside. This stepping up of the villas means that most (perhaps all, I don't know) have views right across Jimbaran Bay, which is small to medium-sized Bay fringed mostly by sandy beaches (and in some places, volcanic rock). You can see the planes taking off and landing in the far distance - but, critically, you can't hear the planes at all. This made for something fun for the kids to watch - but to be clear, mostly you can just see sandy beaches. The villa We stayed in a premier family villa, which was just incredible. We had a gorgeous mid-size infinity pool that was the most perfect temperature (not cold). The villa was tended to twice a day in every way, from restocking the mini bar to replacing the towels. Champagne (Billecart!) was provided on arrival, as part of the package we booked. Everything was extremely clean and there was even an outdoor shower with separate amenities and provisions to the indoor shower. Showering out there in the garden (very private) was remarkably relaxing. The aesthetic and architecture was traditional Balinese and it was utterly breathtaking, with very high ceilings and a pitched thatched roof. We had not expected a separate room for the children, so we were thrilled that the kids had their own bedroom with trundle bed. They thought it was so fun with one of them sleeping on the trundle bed, and the other in the normal bed. This room although small was wonderful to have, and it had its own large television and a desk. The kids relished having their own space. The outdoor decking area overlooking the pool was extremely generously proportioned, with three sunlounges and a large couch plus dining table. The gardens in the villa, as in the rest of the resort, were just sublime and immaculate. The service I like to think I have stayed in some very nice hotels all over the world, including the Four Seasons in Singapore, and Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills (a Four Seasons property), but I don't know if I could say honestly that I've stayed anywhere with staff that were either kinder, or better trained. The standard of English was also extremely high. I could give countless examples of above and beyond service, but this review is already long, so let me share one story. My husband lost his Airpods, and thought he had left them at reception upon checkin. When he returned to reception, about three staff helped him look through various couches and cushions, to no avail. The next day, I received a call to my room from Bagus, and he asked what transfer company we had come in with, and I told him the name. Later, we found out that the staff had gone looking for a company of that name but couldn't figure it out, so they asked for further info. As of today, five days after checkin, they are about to follow up with the transfer company. We didn't ask them to do this. We were so touched at the trouble they went to. The staff were also extremely smart and I truly have no idea how they remember all our names, and where our bookings are. They work together to make sure for you that Booking A won't overun to make you late for Booking B, if that makes sense. Just one more little story. I worked out that they have a rule for the buggy drivers that they won't drive guests backwards in the buggies. I noticed that whenever we would get collected, the drivers took a shorter route to pick us up, then reversed down our little street. But whenever they dropped us home, they would go a different, longer route to ensure that we could go forwards down our little street, lest we feel sick by going backwards. I laughed when I realised and I said, are you trained to never drive the guests backwards? He said yes! Wow. Dining Breathtaking food with immaculate, extraordinary presentation. The fine dining restaurant, Jala, is Balinese food of the highest calibre imaginable! Sundara is likewise sensational, and what a wonderful beachfront restaurant and bar, often with live music. Nothing is too hard, and children are extremely-well catered for with inventive and engaging kids food - our guys got the most amazing ever burger and fries except with vegetables and extras in a bento box! The included breakfast at the main restaurant is extraordinarily good - probably not quite as lavishly extensive as say the Pan Pacific in Singapore, but that is a much, much, much bigger property and it also hosts lost of diners that aren't guests of the hotel. So, this was just perfect! A special shout out to the head chef at Jala - just wow. Our kids did a cooking lesson with him, and he was the most wonderful, brilliant and kind man. His passion for food and for Balinese cuisine was plain. The children learnt so much. The restaurant had printed beautiful recipe instructions with pictures of all the special ingredients. It was truly special and I learnt something too. I hope this review helps you make your choice as to where to stay in Bali easy!

Absolutely fantastic hotel! The resort is huge and so beautiful, the villas are stunning it’s hard leaving your room when they look like that! The staff was absolutely amazing and did everything to help us whenever we needed anything! And the food at this resort!!! What in the actual breakfast dinner / buffet! It is HUGE and also one of the best food we had during this trip. I don’t think I have ever eaten so much because the options were endless and so yummy! We also did the floating breakfast one morning and I loved the experience! Some people think it’s lame and only for Instagram but I genuinely enjoyed eating breakfast in the pool! My husband didn’t though but I would do it again next time! We did the 75 minute massage it was absolutely fantastic. The Sundara beach club is so beautiful and wonderful for sunsets! We also stayed at the Four Seasons Sayan but Jimbaran was the superior one in all categories! If you have to choose one I recommend Jimbaran Bay!
