Post covid return, we stayed 5 days in a pool villa with a private pool and absolutely loved it. Perfectly comfy bed with really white, clean linen. Awesome aircon Great staff. Special thanks to Tini and Dharma and new guy Their new restaurant out the front ‘JACKFRUIT’ has the best breakfasts (worth including in your room price). Smashing pancakes and a cracking cup of coffee. I want to go back. Yes, it’s tired like most older Bali hotels but that didn’t detract from our stay. Our pool and Hotel pool were clean. Loved that there was so many good restaurants around us. Some favourites were the Lokal, Lemongrass and Warung Mina to name a few. Like Ketuts fixed price shop on Garlic Lane. About 10-15 minutes walk to beach or quick $2-3 taxi ride. Do yourself a favour if you can afford it and don’t want a private pool villa, book a pool access room. Happy holidays to you

to be honest the food is not the best but there will be something you can try. its about time they changed the menus as its repeated every week. However i would still recommend the hotel as the staff are great and you have spectacular views of the sea from the rooms. the hotel is in a good loc… more

It’s not called Kuta lagoon resort & pool villa anymore it’s called The Lagoon and we are returning guests for quiet a few years when it was called Kuta lagoon resort &pool villa it has changed abit since last time we stayed here The Lagoon as it is now called is still nice but they don’t have room service after 6pm anymore because room service comes from the cafe just outside the resort and they close at 6pm everyday because The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant anymore but hopefully one day they will open it back up again and they don’t have the buffet breakfast anymore 🥲 or dinner in their own restaurant that part of the hotel wasn’t opened but hopefully they open their restaurant back up soon 🤞 the little mini mart is gone aswell which was just outside the resort which was so handy when staying there to grab your groceries smokes and drinks from there it was so handy having one there but where the mini mart used to be its a coffee shop/eatery now if you get your room with breakfast included you will get a voucher to use there just our own personal options we only used 2 of our breakfast vouchers we didn’t rate it at all not much variety for breakfast available so we went around the corner to The Pad on bene every morning for breakfast so next time we go there we won’t get breakfast included in our room price we will eat elsewhere until they open there own restaurant again and hopefully bring back the yummy buffet breakfast and beautiful room service meals my daughter loved there chicken sandwiches and milkshakes the staff are all lovely and nothing was a problem for them when asked we will definitely stay here again
