Located about 40 minutes away from, and some 2500 metres higher than, Shimla, Wildflower Hall offers a welcoming restfulness away from the bustle of that city. Having spent 3 days in Shimla itself, it was the perfect place to relax thereafter although it readily serves as a base for those wishing to explore that city without too much involvement with the daily hubbub. There are a range of activities available within and around the hotel throughout the day and staff are attentive in all respects whenever advice, guidance or assistance is required. The food available for breakfast, lunch and dinner is extensive and goes beyond Indian food although I highly recommend the Himachali thali (veg or non-veg) that should be ordered earlier during the day. As is to be expected, the views are sensational - and will be even more so deeper into winter as the snow makes its appearance - but care must be taken to ensure that monkeys are unable to gain access into your bedroom via an open window. Finally, I liked the fact that I was asked on checking out whether there was any aspect that could be improved upon - I could not find anything to suggest but this is illustrative of the effort that is made to keep service levels at an optimal level.

“A very special place”

Just a truly outstanding hotel in the most amazing location. Staff were exceptional and the views from the breakfast terrace out of this world. Take a hot tub you won’t be disappointed! Hopefully we will be back as this has so many happy memories.

Beautiful hotel perfect amenities. The staff was always around to cater to every need with a smile They went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Loved the pool jacuzzi the walking trail with our guide Kushal Food was delicious. Rooms have beautiful views

What an absolutely fabulous stay we had at the Oberoi Wildflower Hall. We’re so grateful to the entire team for making our experience so special. From the moment we arrived, it felt completely like home. The amount of love and care the staff put into everything was beyond expectations. I cannot even begin to describe the thoughtfulness, care, and attention to detail that all the teams at this property showed us. Every single person went out of their way to make us feel cared for. I would say the hospitality and warmth is far beyond what we’ve experienced in any Indian or international hotel. The property itself is stunningly beautiful, surrounded by serene forests, Mountain View’s and lovely nature trails. The food was Absolutely delicious, and lots of variety. They also customized a lot to our preferences. Our little daughter received special care and attention, and had such a good time. The team would proactively suggest milk or snacks for her, and she was given little toys and things to play with. One day, when they noticed we were collecting pine cones, they arranged a beautiful pine cone display with a handwritten note. Anamika, Chaity, Akshath , Shivam, Rishit, and all the other team members made our stay unforgettable. We will always cherish our time at Wildflower and can’t wait to come back again soon.
