This is a delightful historic hotel ideal for exploring old town Shimla. As an Oberoi property, it may not be at the luxury level of others in the chain, but that also makes it reasonably priced. “Beautiful Scenery and great service”
Great view ,friendly staff and excellent service.The view of the mountain was also great.Buffet was also great.If you are a bird watcher then you can find many exotic bird species in the morning.all the inns are also very beautiful.Overall a good place to stay.

Lovely hotel with amazing history. Full of character and eccentricity. Excellent staff and service. Internal decor etc was looking tired and dated - Definitely in need of its planned refurbishment and upgrade though

“Great hotel; great location.”
The professional and friendly staff gave us a hugely enjoyable stay. After the forthcoming renovation it should be a great hotel indeed.Shimla was such a welcome break after the noise and bustle of Delhi.
