“Aged Property - Looks and feels Old”

I stayed at this property for 2 Nights. The property is about 15 minutes drive to airport. The check-in experience was good. Courteous staff and in about few minutes, I was off to room. This is a completely non smoking property. The room - by the looks of it - it looked great, but when looked into details, its old and needs renovation. The carpet looked nice, but was stained. The sofa looked comfortable, but was very hard and stained. The table and desk felt aged. The restroom looked nice, but in corners you can see the tiles were broken. The good thing was the bed was comfortable and clean. A plug point was broken or would charge at its own will or would work at certain angles. Overall, a bit let down on the brand Sheraton and Marriott on cleanliness. Never stayed in such an aged property of Marriott. In-room amenities were aplenty but chargeable. Restroom amenities were sufficient. The breakfast spread was to their standards and tasted well. Here, they were let down by their service. I ordered from their live station only not to receive them. It was either served to a different table or just completely forgotten. It happened on both the days of my stay. I actually had to wait by the station so that they are not forgotten. I raised the issue there, but was told "It would be taken care off", but it was again happening on second day. However, the service at Best Brews at dinner was excellent by Mr.Pradeep. And it was not just to my table. 3 or 4 other tables needs were catered by him well, including mine. The check-out again, was a bliss. It did not take more than few minutes to be off. Overall, The property is very aged and needs renovation. It just does not look like a Marriott or Sheraton property.

So this hotel was our pit stop from our Delhi to jodhpur road trip. While going the check in service was biased. We saw that for every guests checking in at that time staff were accompanying however not in our case. We were asked to take care of ourselves. Room was good. Recomend to take the 6th floor rooms. Food was very average hardly any seasoning in any of the dishes. Staff should be more smiling and approachable. On return trip rooms were good again since we had requested for a 6th floor one. Check in service was good, we had a staff accompany us andr food was well above average. Now for the spoiler we had our buffet dinner included in our charges and when we were returning back to room the staff stopped us to sign. We said ours is already included so what now. Lo behold seems the glass water bottle kept on our table was chargeable and surprise no.one bothered to mention that and very surprising four seasons couldn't afford to provide their guests with a basic water bottle and decided to charge 180 rs for the same. And their goes their goodwill. Totally disappointing.not to mention the guests weren't socially responsible. Though nothing that the hotel can do about it but just to share. So we were already inside the lift ready to go to ground floor when another guest stopped the elevator and stopped it for the next 5 mins until his partner came out from the room and joined us. Rest the case. The charges aren't less so way better service is definitely expected. The last straw expect to get your morning breakfast shakes in a paper cup, hello in an era of sustainability who is looking into this and not to.mention for a 13k room rent being charged I would definitely expect it to be given in a glass.
