“Amazing experience”

The place is very clean and lavish. The staff is super helpful. Everyone, especially Ms Ancy, was super good and even got us a small cake for our anniversary. Rooms ,restaurants, and general ambience is very nice! 100% recommended place and i will visit again

Stayed with my wife and she loved everything about Vivanta Panjim. The welcome we received, the service, the spacious and comfortable room, the breakfast buffet spread and the pool experience. Knowing that my wife is elated with the experience, I am happy and satisfied.

My wife and I recently stayed at Taj Vivanta Panaji, Goa, for two nights during a work trip. As expected from a Taj property, the service was impeccable, and the overall experience was pleasant. The staff was welcoming, and the facilities at the hotel met the standards of luxury and comfort that the Taj brand is known for. However, we did face one issue during our stay—the wooden flooring in our room. The floor made a persistent squeaking sound, which became quite uncomfortable, especially during the night. This did impact our overall comfort, but we promptly informed the duty managers, who assured us that the hotel management is aware of the issue and plans to renovate the rooms soon. As someone involved in the travel industry and running a hotel aggregation business, I understand that maintaining a property of this standard can be challenging. I trust that Taj Vivanta will resolve this issue and ensure that this prime property continues to uphold the exceptional reputation that the Taj brand carries. Despite this minor hiccup, I look forward to seeing the improvements in the future and would still recommend Taj Vivanta Panaji for its excellent service and beautiful ambiance.

I can not rate very good or excellent rating for this property though it’s being managed by IHCL ie Taj, the biggest brand in hospitality industry. This property has never gave me the feeling I feel at majority of Taj Properties. I visited here 5 times so far, had official conferences also at 3 times but service has always been a matter of concern. This time was not an exception. We were two and were allocated 314 & 314. Rooms are fine with all basics mingled with luxury feel. But they did not provide after shave lotion, even despite requests. Electric kettle was not working and got it replaced when technician couldn’t repair it. No staff assisted to room on check-in. No assistance was provided for know how about room itinerary especially lights’ switches. My luggage was not put in suo motto after check-in. We checked in at 06:00 PM on 11/10 and were heavily tired because of numbers of meetings and related official work and that’s why good rest and good food was required. After taking showers, we went to restaurant. We ordered for vegetable fried rice and bitter guard dry. Both order were accepted but not provided. Instead dry brinjal fry came, but it was cooked beyond the required time and that’s it was no longer dry..almost smashed. I also ordered for plain tandoori roti but was provided ghee phulka. Later tandoori roti came. Crockery were not put in warmer before serving for dinner. I pointed it out, then only steward gave warm plate but to me only, not to my colleague. I was disappointed and decided not to have next day ie 12th breakfast and lunch. Since, as per Indian tradition without having food, no one leaves his/her house in morning, we that’s why had little in B/F on 12th and proceeded for Taj Fort Aguada, the premium Taj Property in Goa, for tea. But lunch completely avoided here. During breakfast too, I observed main plates were kept at non-veg section only, not at veg section. It’s highly objectionable, because many vegetarians never like this. And again no plate was kept in warmer. It means hygiene is a high matter of concern here. Taj has been a dream for Tatas. For me many memorable things are associated with Taj. I that’s why treat Taj as my house but whenever I drop in at Vivanta, Panjim, my feelings get completely shattered because of impolite and arrogant attitude and unprofessional service of staff. I had pointed out on earlier occasions also but no improvement I could see this time. It’s as it was. I also observed one indecent thing this time. Juniors don’t follow instructions of seniors. I brought one such incident to the GM. He told it was miscommunication. However, I can only hope, I hope the service will be improved.
