We picked this property based primarily because of price and accommodations. As a last minute trip with my daughter, we wanted a place that was reasonable in price, clean, and somewhat close to the downtown/touristy area of Reykjavik. We lucked out and got a corner room (310) so that we had plenty of windows and the ability to have good air circulation. Blackout curtains provided great coverage for sleeping, since daylight was practically 20 hrs a day :-). Kitchenette suited our needs well - had electric stove, small sink, mini frig, microwave. Kitchen items were also stocked (plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, mugs, dish towel, dish rack, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans, all utensils for eating and cooking, dish soap, scrubber). Lots of cabin space to put things away. Our room also had a table (with two chairs) for eating and a nice couch to sit around (rather than having to lounge in bed all the time). Sleeping/living area and bathroom were very clean, and I really liked the plank flooring, which was very easy to clean up. Our entryway had a coat rack with shelf for storing shoes. There was also a hanger rack provided with some hangers; there's no dresser. However, we used the deep-set window ledges to hold our clothes. Bathroom had all the supplies (body soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap). Towels (bath and hand) were provided; honor system for replacing your bath towels every other day in the 3rd floor laundry/supply room. Laundry room had two sets of washers/dryers; it cost 990 Krona per wash/dry. Laundry detergent is included in the cost of the wash - it self-dispenses from the washer. Check in was right at 3pm via room code. Our flight got in the morning, so we were able to store our luggage in the locked luggage room (I think there's one on each floor - 3rd, 4th, 5th). There were cameras in the hallways, which added to the sense of security. The took a look at the 4th and 5th floors, and they each had a nice open seating area (if you wanted to wait for your room to "open"). The gas station in front of the apts also had a Braud & Co location - great place to catch some pastries, sandwiches, drinks, coffee. It's a bit smaller so not for a large group, but convenient. There's a Netto (grocery store) right across the street by the Hilton. The other grocery store Bonus, is also close by (maybe 5 min walk?). I walked to downtown every day to see the sights; it's a little a mile a way. We stayed for 7 days and our room was great!

Our experience here was entirely positive. The space had plenty of room for my family of four to spread out. It was spotlessly clean, with a well equipped kitchenette and large table where we could all sit down together. After an overnight flight into Keflavík, we arrived in the city early and took advantage of the luggage storage room. Management was extremely responsive and helpful over the phone when we realized our check-in info had been sent to a defunct email address (entirely our fault) and they gave us the entry code right away. Location is handy, with grocery stores within a few minutes walk, and not too far away from downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

Ten colleagues from Ireland arriving in Reykjavik for an Erasmus Course & we stumbled across these apartments! WoW - what a gem. Location was perfect for both the course & the city. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the start of the city which is full of vitality & vibrant. Apartments are appropriately stocked with everything you need & clean towels are based on an honesty policy. Beds are amazingly comfortable & every part of the apartment is spotlessly clean. I would recommend a stay in Boholt!

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for six nights during our holiday in Reykjavik for our wedding anniversary. The building is accessed by entering a code and it is possible to use the luggage storage even before check-in at 3 pm and after check-out at 10 am The apartment is located in front of a bus stop which allows you to reach the bus station and the city center in 10 minutes. Having the well equipped kitchen in the room with the table and chairs allowed us to relax and dine in the room. Great sleep quality with comfortable beds and pillows. We didn't notice any outside noise thanks to the soundproof windows. Extremely clean rooms and kindness of the staff. Absolutely recommended.
