“great hotel, helpful staff and triple room with northern view”
great hotel, helpful staff and triple room with northern view. Easy to walk to city center and seaside. Nearby Restaurant and supermarket. Good view. Good breakfast. Large room and easy for checkin, even overnight. Recommend to book here.

“When I come back to Iceland will be staying here again.”
This hotel had such a lovely “feel” to it. Staff were lovely, homemade cake every afternoon and tea and coffee from 12 midday to 1am… perfect if you’ve been out looking for the Northern lights or whales! Hotel had a car park. “An excellent ‘budget’ hotel”
We found this hotel to be excellent. Near enough to walk into the centre of Reykjavík yet far enough from the centre to be peaceful. The hotel has a tranquility. It is spotlessly clean, the staff are extremely helpful and there is an ample breakfast. We would certainly visit again

Really enjoyed Hotel Orkin. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was small but adequate and very clean. Breakfast was really good with lots of choices. Tea and coffee are available at all times with cake at 5.00pm. Staff even made coffee and sandwich for very early departure. Easy 10 min wa… more
