“Great”

Clean, and quiet,room ... helpful staff, great breakfasts,...,.............provided suggestions for places to visit. The hotel was conveniently located for access to shops ,groceries , attractions, and bus stops, access to wifi facilitied communications.

If you are looking for a no frill hotel that is centrally located to restaurants and shops this hotel is for you. Pros- The European style continental breakfast is decent and served daily. The bed and bedding were comfortable. Cons- The rooms were small, fits two people. The elevator was slow. It is not handicapped accessible since stairs at the entrance and to get to the elevator. If you are looking for a hotel with a restaurant or spa this is not the place.

The hotel is a perfect mix of location, accommodations, and value. We found the staff to be very polite and friendly, the breakfast was basic but solid solid, and overall we definitely enjoyed the experience and would come back. The hotel is a perfect mix of location, accommodations, and value. We found the staff to be very polite and friendly, the breakfast was basic but solid solid, and overall we definitely enjoyed the experience and would come back. The one caveat is that if you need quiet sleep, the bars and restaurants around the hotel do you have music until about 11:00 p.m. this became part of the ambience, but could be jolting if you had a child or were it light sleeper.

This hotel is in a great location, we found it easy to walk from the main bus station and to other bus stops for trips. This hotel is in a great location, we found it easy to walk from the main bus station and to other bus stops for trips. It is in a great location for restaurants and bar and an easy walk to the harbour if you are doing the evening boat trip to see the lights. Our room was on the fourth floor and had everything you would need. No sheets on the bed as is the Icelandic way but we only have duvets at home too. The room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom (probably in need of new paint on the window sill but I'm just being picky). The staff at reception when we checked in were polite and helpful and our room was ready early. The breakfast suited us - continental with bagels and toast. We felt the choice was good and would certainly of not wanted to go out and find breakfast elsewhere when most trips collected at 9.00am. The only downside of this hotel is the noise from the bar (not the fault of the hotel) but we were shattered after long days out so it didn't really keep us a wake too late.
