“Well located apartment, stingy with the loo roll.”

It's quite difficult to find, the only sign being a small piece of paper in a window but the entrance is next to the Cuban bar. It's quite difficult to find, the only sign being a small piece of paper in a window but the entrance is next to the Cuban bar. Clean and well located, only a few mins walk from the old Jewish quarter. The fridge didn't work well, wasn't cold, and it's a struggle to make 1 loo roll last 2 adults, 4 days! Stick another roll in for stays of more than 1 night! The room wasn't cleaned nor towels replaced during the 3 nights. Also, the bed was VERY squeaky. The location is not dangerous and run down as other reviews said.

“Great location, great value”

Just behind the Opera House it’s in a quiet side street in a great central location with several metros and buses minutes away. Bars and cafes nearby also. Our room was a bedsit so one room with everything in it with a seperate bathroom and toilet. Roomy enough. Our room was at the end of a hall so only one neighbour but it was quiet at night so no interrupted sleep. It’s fairly basic but comfortable enough. Staff were very helpful with our few questions. Great value.

“Wish we'd been told about the building works.”

Turned up to find the apartments had very loud building works. Turned up to find the apartments had very loud building works. They could start at early as 7am and our apartment and balcony were facing the building works 🙄 no need for an alarm clock 😁 Paid to upgrade our apartment to have a separate bedroom and agreed on 10 euros a night but then they added another 11 euros on for cleaning services despite us already paying for cleaning services. We were here for 4 nights and no cleaning was done/towels or bed linen changed. So, not sure what the cleaning costs were for? The room was dirty, needed a good dusting but it was just a place to sleep so we just put up with it. Where the apartments are is ideal, 10 to 20 minutes to most touristy places although taxis are cheap but get them to put it on the metre as they charge you triple if you ask for a price before getting in. The small Cuban bar next door is lovely and and the Cuban lady that worked there was lovely & if quiet, we could DJ the bar 🤣 Wouldn't stay here again as the apartment was filthy.

“Good location, avoid the shuttle service arranged by the hotel”

Apartment was decent and quiet (on the top floor). Really good central location. Toilet smelled of urine; so i got a different room, in which the toilet smelled of urine; obviously a problem with drains. Doesnt look like a hotel from the outside and would never want to sit in the veranda, because it is a really unnattractive outlook. The shuttle service to the airport on the way back was a taxi driven by a woman; this woman is a thief; she gave me change in old redundant forints, which were refused in the airport when i tried to use them- this left a bad taste; and was my last memory of Budapest.
