“Gorgeous hotel with charm and style in a great location”
Loved this hotel! Such charm and beauty and comfort. Walkable to the heart of Pest and just 2 short blocks to a transportation hub with tram and metro. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe even after dark. The room was spacious, comfortable, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend.

From the moment we saw the hotel on its own small square we knew we had struck gold. With a cosy Parisian hotel feel, the restaurant was welcoming with an incredible menu - both breakfast and dinner, staff could not be more helpful, not just with recommendations from the menu but also suggestions where to go that enhanced our trip. Robert deserves a special mention and was an absolute star. Though we used the lift a spiral staircase from basement past reception to 4th floor added to the cosy feel. Our rooms (attic) were quirky with exposed beams with welcoming decor and comfortable furnishings. The location couldn’t have been better - 5 minutes to the river between the chain and Elizabeth bridges and river trips (well worth taking), not far from the Parliament building and a two minute walk from the final stop of the 100E airport bus - a cheap, efficient and easy way to get to the city for @£4-5/person. We cannot recommend this hotel and staff enough, it will be our 1st port of call when we return

First visit to Budapest and stayed here for 3 nights. Fantastic hotel with great character in a perfect location for walking to all the main sights. The staff were friendly and helpful and the served breakfast was very tasty and a great opportunity to try some Hungarian specialities. The evening menu looked good too although we ate out. The freshly baked cookied when checking in was a nice touch and the room was warm and quiet with a comfy bed.

We stayed here for three nights in the end of November 2024. We just loved it! The building is impressive, the staff is so helpful and nice, and the room was so nice with its high ceilings and big windows! We also liked that there were two sitting chairs and a table in front of the window in the room. The old fashion style in the room and bathrom was also nice. And the breakfast; we were served at the table and could just ask and get everything we wanted, the food was very good, and the waiters so nice. And the restaurant is beutiful! We would love to come back !

If you are looking for modern day luxury go to the Ritz. This is a beautiful old hotel that has been lovingly maintained to be like it was when it opened. The original brass fittings still exist, from chandeliers to the soap dish. The ceilings are 15ft high. The door to our shower was 12ft tall. The waiting staff are efficient and friendly. They wear white shirts with black waistcoats and serving pinnies. All very traditional. The breakfasts were incredible, I had bone marrow baguette on the last day. The floors are original and polished, the entrance doors must weigh a tonne. This is my favourite hotel ever.
