Fabulous room (we had a superior double room), lovely continental breakfast in a very quiet and classy breakfast room, and great customer service. “Mini break!”

Slightly outside of the main city but was perfect for us. Welcome was excellent and all staff on reception were friendly. We walked everywhere so didn’t use the trains apart from our last day going over to Margaret Island. Easy to navigate from the hotel. The only thing you are not told is there... more

Slightly outside of the main city but was perfect for us. Welcome was excellent and all staff on reception were friendly. We walked everywhere so didn’t use the trains apart from our last day going over to Margaret Island. Easy to navigate from the hotel. The only thing you are not told is there is a late night club down the road. Air con didn’t work and rooms were hot so had to sleep with windows open. Considering their tag line is Let you sleep there wasn’t much going on due to external noise sadly. Breakfast spread was great - even breakfast cava (they must have known I was coming!) and their cherry yogurt was gorgeous. Housekeeping was a bit a bit hit & miss - ours came very late in the day - we had been out from 9am and got back at 4pm and they hadn’t been. All in all it was a great stay -we didn’t get to use the spa as we were there to sight see so can’t comment.

This hotel is absolutely INSANE. From the moment you walk through the door, everyone is so polite, friendly, and helpful. We are currently staying at the hotel and could not have picked a better location. There are complimentary pastries, sweets, water, and refreshing lemonade. The breakfast is plentiful, and the complimentary  morning champagne is a delightful touch. Room 505 is on the 5th floor and has a nice view over the rooftops. The room is modern and well thought out. There is nothing  wrong with the location of this hotel, we explored locally and found a great Gyros takeaway and a little Jamaican bar serving the best rum cocktails.... Live a little, and you will be surprised. The modern Corvin shopping centre is just across the road with an outdoor plaza full of restaurants. We used the M3 Metro line every day. You are literally 3 stops from Deak Ter,  the centre. We sat in reception, also the bar area nearly every evening chatting to the staff and having a beer. The garden is a little Oasis after a full day in the city. The bar is self-serve, and you just add what you buy to your room (I can highly recommend the Hungarian Chardonnay)... The hotel is clean, fresh, and spotless We  had my birthday meal at the Barack es Szilva restaurant, exceptional modern Hungarian food, and The Hungarian Bisztro near the Shoes on the Danube was fantastic. I  am half Hungarian and personally would not stay anywhere else. Thank you for an AMAZING holiday.

Room was functional and what we expected for the price, Reception staff checked us in efficiently and were friendly, also happy to answer any questions and provide some advice on touristy things. Breakfast was good, got a little busy when everyone was down as there was not much room to move around, especially the coffee machine stuck in a corner. Maid service was a bit random with some days not being done until late afternoon, not great when you are trying to get ready to go out for the evening. There is a big things in the lobby about using the water fountain and saving plastic, but you can only use it if you purchase one of their bottles (not sure if they were plastic or not!) so we could not top up our reusable metal bottles.
