“Great location. Would recommend!”

I have stayed in this neighbourhood before so I knew it was in a "good" area. I chose this hotel on price. I paid for a "small single room" and it was small. But it was adequate for my needs. Equipped with a safe and toiletries. My room was located next to a lift but this caused no noise issues as residents were quiet. Previous reviews mention noise from the school. I rise early, breakfast is available from 7 on weekdays so I only heard kids playing in the afternoon. But I didn't find this an issue. Staff were all friendly and curtious. The Spanish lady in the breakfast area was particularly helpful with information and tips on the city. There is a guests fridge in the breakfast area should you need to store any items. I can't fault anything and I hope to return.

“Fantastic hotel”
Lovely hotel. Stayed here last year. Alex in the reception was extremely helpful with everything we needed during our 6 day stay. The hotel is located very close to Museumplein tram stop. However is surrounded by kinder schools so it gets quite noisy in the morning, best to keep windows shut. But the room does get quite warm when windows are closed. The beds were comfortable. The pillows are the square European size which were very high and big - not so comfortable. The towels were quite thin. The shower was nice. Great to have a coffee machine in the room and a bar fridge. There is no safe though. There are a few steps at the entrance to the reception.

Great location, but be careful NOT to get a room on the 4th floor. We booked two rooms, one a single (which actually had a double bed in it) and one a twin. The single was on the first floor, a good size room, nice window, plenty of space. The twin was basically a hostel room....two small beds pushed up against opposite walls with a narrow gap between them that only one person could squeeze down at a time. Even the cups were smaller than our travelling companion on the lower floor! The curtain didn't close properly as the rail didn't cover the window and storage space was virtually non existent - and we had paid for the same class of room as our friend. Perhaps they should review their pricing structure as we felt rather aggrieved to be given such a lower standard of room.
