We loved this hotel. it is everything we look for in a top hotel: discrete, stylish, super staff (friendly, knowledgable and efficient), excellent location, genuine boutique, beautiful buildings, great food....and if you need it (we dont) there is even a 2*michelin restaurant on site!! so very happy customers and we will definitely be back. Our only 'constructive' feedback is that some of the lighting frustratingly dark. reflecting the likely older demographic of the customer base they might want to re think this one - it is i fear a slight hangover from the original designer (way back in the day) who did have a thing about 'dark spaces'. Yes its expensive and yes the rooms/bathrooms are 'cozy' - but that is staying in cities. This is prime Amsterdam. The expense is justified as they get everything right. thank you to all the team for making our stay so welcome

Our recent stay at the Dylan Hotel in Amsterdam was an exceptional experience. From the initial warm welcome and seamless check-in to the personalized touches throughout, the hotel truly exceeded our expectations. Brian made us feel like valued guests from the moment we walked in, ensuring a smooth and comfortable arrival. The thoughtful gestures, such as early check-in and a welcoming pot of tea, set a luxurious and relaxing tone. Celebrating my wife's 50th birthday, the hotel added a special touch with a personalized note and a delectable cake, making her feel truly special. Our room was exquisite, adorned with luxurious Aesop amenities. The breakfast was divine, particularly the delicious orange muffins. In the evening, the expertly crafted cocktails at the bar were simply superb. The impeccable service, with staff consistently anticipating our needs and greeting us with warm smiles, further enhanced our stay. The hotel's prime location added to the overall charm. We eagerly anticipate our return to Amsterdam and another unforgettable stay at the Dylan.

Beautiful hotel, probably in the best neighborhood in Amsterdam for tourists — quieter than city center, close to great shopping and restaurants. Restaurant was quite good. Staff/concierge could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Some rooms may not be the best for older visitors (stairs, attic beams). But absolutely recommend and hope to come back.
