“Long weekend city break”
Stayed for a long weekend and the hotel was the perfect location for a city break. We had interconnecting rooms which were decorated for my birthday which was a lovely touch. Comfy spacious rooms, about a 5 min walk to the nearest metro station which then takes about 10 minutes to get to the city … more
Stayed for a long weekend and the hotel was the perfect location for a city break. We had interconnecting rooms which were decorated for my birthday which was a lovely touch. Comfy spacious rooms, about a 5 min walk to the nearest metro station which then takes about 10 minutes to get to the city centre. Breakfast was by far the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had, so much choice - something for everyone. Would highly recommended

No fault at all with the hotel, modern, great lounge/bar area. Just very fresh and clean. Breakfast is good with wide selection buffet style. No fault at all with the hotel, modern, great lounge/bar area. Just very fresh and clean. Breakfast is good with wide selection buffet style. Room was again very modern, we had a family room with a fold away double bed and large double. Lovely views of Amsterdam. One thing they could do with having is storage space for clothes, only has a rail that is open. Really could do with draws, we were a family of 4 so could have done with unpacking the suitcase

“Comfortable Chain Hotel”
Average chain hotel, nothing jumps out as too awful. Staff were always friendly and helpful and the room itself was comfortable and sleek. “Disappointed visit”
Arrived Friday 27th with no issues. Very friendly and helpful staff. We ate in the hotel restaurant as we arrived late and didn't know the area well enough to go back out . If you like pizza and burgers then that is fine but there was no other choice which for a big hotel I found disappointing. … more
Arrived Friday 27th with no issues. Very friendly and helpful staff. We ate in the hotel restaurant as we arrived late and didn't know the area well enough to go back out . If you like pizza and burgers then that is fine but there was no other choice which for a big hotel I found disappointing. We then went and sat in the bar area and had a couple of drinks. Again very pleasant and attentive staff. However when we went to the bar Saturday night we were told it was closed and that we had to use the 'restaurant' seating area or sofas that were more or less in the foyer of the hotel. It wasn't busy?? The advert for our stay said there was a bar but we couldn't use it?? Sunday night we went back to the bar and it was closed again. This time we asked why we couldn't use it and was told 'when its busy they like to keep everyone together'. It wasn't busy so the girl opened it up and this time let us sit in the bar at a table. We were also looking forward to using the steam room etc but when we enquired where it was, were told it was 'out of order'? How long has it been out of order and why were we not told as we picked this hotel for that reason! Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice, again very attentive and pleasant staff. Rooms were good size and very comfortable. Pity about the spa and bar!
